So you want to join, huh? Well, it's easy!

Comment to this post with your name, contact, character, and 1-3 paragraphs describing a little bit about what will make them unique. What is their AU and how does it set them apart? What game were they part of? What relationships do they have on arrival? Do they have any motivations for staying here? If they're canon blank, go into why they would stay here or why they'd visit, and what's going on back in canon and some personality.

Canon: Pop Team Epic
Character: Popuko
Variation: CRAU from jamjar_high
About: Popuko is arriving on the heels of three years at jamjar_high! Despite being a crack character, she managed to make several tight bonds with people, including but not limited to Lupin the III, Spiderman, and had a mentorship with Deadpool (although it was hard to tell who was the mentor and who was the student). While there, she killed Big Boss, who was a school military recruiter, and became the Sauce Boss. My version of Popuko wears an eyepatch and has a bit of shrapnel in her forehead, albeit unrelated to the Boss title. I'd like her to be able to keep this, though I understand if other MGS characters don't recognize her authority or prefer not to interact, due to her status as a crack character.

While at jamjar_high, she fell in love twice. Once with the robot from Cromartie High, and again in a torrid love triangle with Pipimi and Hatsune Miku that lasted nine months. Pipimi is her current love interest. My desire to app here is because her canon doesn't really have a solid setting and other games don't really deem her appable. I promise to keep her destructive nature to a setting minimum and stick with the Roger Rabbit rule-- "only when it's funny". Therefore, I won't be having her use her fourth wall powers on other characters and I won't be invasive unless I have permission. Thank you.

Canon: Tangled
Character: Rapunzel
Variation: Canon
About: Rapunzel is an upbeat and creative 17 year old. While she's naive, she's also very bright and has a good amount of spunk. She doesn't back down when things get rough, no matter how scared she is- and she's often very scared, because to Rapunzel has had basically the most sheltered upbringing ever. Still, despite being told that the outside world is full of awful terrors, she's pretty damn friendly. Though, again thanks to the abuse of Mother Gothel, she doesn't often expect others to like her at all.

Rapunzel sports a ridiculous 70 feet of hair that glows when she sings a special song, and can heal people, reverse aging, and even restore life. She's also got the rather inexplicable ability to use this hair as a lasso, etc. She's being taken directly from canon, without any AU factoring in, at a point where she's still stuck in the tower: before Flynn Rider enters and she knocks him out with a frying pan, but that same day. So Rapunzel's motivation to stay will be the sweet taste of freedom!

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? Several Battlers in the same room? What could go wrong! (Yes)

Canon: Umineko no Naku Koro Ni
Character: Battler Ushiromiya
Variation: CRAU from PSLs
About: Battler here comes from a canon called Umineko no Naku Koro ni, a canon about witches and murder mysteries and your family killing each other! But Battler's CRAU from a PSL has him shacked up with a shounen strawberry and no rocks fall, everyone dies. The Rokkenjima tragedy never happened, and several years after the fateful day in Rokkenjima, ended up being college roommates with Ichigo Kurosaki. They fell into a relationship, all was good until their terrifying alternate selves came into play (Black Battler, Hichigo Shirosaki), but mostly, they're good. Battler's coming here because frankly? He's got nothing left in his canon or CRAU that's giving him some ADVENTURE. Farming is an adventure... right? (Damn rich city boy.)

Otherwise, his personality is completely intact, he hasn't changed much at all aside from who he knows. He's brash, intelligent, a bit older (now 21), and ready to start life out on the farm. Going to go ahead with the excuse that the bus back home broke down and is in indefinite repairs.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? Sure It wouldn’t be the weordest thing to happen to her

Canon: Moana (2017)
Character: Moana
Variation: Canon; Post-canon with some au afterwards.
About: Moana is the daughter of the chief of Motunui, born and raised to one day become the island’s matriarch herself. The ocean chose her as a toddler to one day become a great wayfinder, and to bring the lost heart of Te Fiti back to where it belonged. In order to do that, she would have to find Maui, and convince him to lead her to Te Fiti and restore the heart. It’s a long boyage but after some scrapes, bumps and bruises, singing crabs, and evil coconuts, she fulfills her destiny, not only restoring the heart but also the wayfinding heritage to her people on Motonui.

Moana is very caring, loyal, and stubborn. She’s also brave, clever, though sometimes a little overconfident. Any combination of these top three traits make her a great wayfinder. She deeply loves her people, her friends, and most importantly, her family. She has a deep love for her heritage and following tradition—-to a degree. She’s not afraid to experiment and innovate in order to make things better and easier. Work smarter, not harder would be a good motto if she had one. She’s outdoorsy, athletic, and loves to be outside. She’d be better at swimming if she had more time in the ocean when she was younger. It takes a lot to break Moana’s tenacity and optimism, but even when she does break? She looks inwards and reflects on all the things important to her, and she bounces back in no time.

Moana will be coming in post canon, after restoring the heart of Te Fiti. It’s undisclosed if she’s older when she travels to other islands after canon, but I’d like to think so. It’s also undisclosed if she is chief. This post canon, slightly AU version of Moana will be freshly 19 years old, and well seasoned as a wayfinder and diplomat to Motonui. She’ll be happy to stick around on the beaches of Starhue, leaving occasionally to return home and perhaps, voyage elsewhere. But, she’ll come back definitely, especially after meeting other people, and her interest in innovation and thirst for knowledge and friendship will keep her coming back time and time again, maybe even settling down for a little while after her horizons have been broadened!

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? Yes

Canon: Steven Universe
Character: Peridot
Variation: Canon
About: Peridot basically runs in three modes: cool and calculating, trying her best to be a Crystal Gem, and just completely off the wall. Prior to and in the early days of her mission on Earth, she almost entirely defaulted to the former. She was angry, but a focused and a diligent worker. She lived to serve Yellow Diamond, and as the Crystal Gems made that more and more difficult, Peridot became more and more prone to fits and tantrums, and moments of behaving almost manically. That got far worse when she was left stranded on Earth, and frantic worry and heavy frustration were added into the mix. While a captive of the Crystal Gems, Peridot began to develop an appreciation for Earth. At first, she strictly recognized its resources and the potential ways it could help Homeworld, but in time, she developed true friendship with the rebel Gems, particularly Steven and Garnet. The way she had come to value friendship came into full view when she and Lapis became “barnmates”, and Peridot went to great lengths to win over her new roomie.

Peridot has become very expressive during her time on Earth, from dancing with giddy joy to sputtering in anger. She’s also very creative, with a strong appreciation for music and visual arts. She’s also highly intelligent, and has become very loyal towards her new friends. She’s still learning; still curious about the world around her and still not above being tactless or insensitive without realizing it. But the most important part is she’s trying, and she wants to keep improving. She comes from a time in canon when Lapis has left Earth with their barn. While Peridot has been given a place to stay with the Crystal Gems, she's feeling out of place and she's feeling a lack of connection that will draw her to and keep her in the Valley.

( I'm just going to grab and stick with Rapunzel and Peridot here from the start, I hope that's okay! )

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? Yes! Absolutely!

Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Character: Sora
Variation: CRAU from [community profile] interstellar5555
About: Sora is a magical boy, age 17 (he turned 17 in-game), coming from several months spent in a mem-loss/mem-regain game immediately following the events of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. There, he had fake memories of being a former TV/movie child-star and was a current boyband member in a world far into the future. He sang, he danced, he wrote songs, and made friends with other people brought in with fake memories as musicians. Memories of his real life eventually began bubbling up though, and by the time he appears here, I'd like him to have the memories of his canon self (since he'd pretty much remembered everything by the time I dropped) as well as all his fake memories and real memories from in-game.

While in the crazy, wild world of stardom and musicians, Sora got drunk on New Year's Eve and wound up kissing his best friend, Jamie Hemeros, and from then on out they became a couple. As much as two idiot teenage boys are capable of maintaining a romantic relationship, anyway. Sora had some help from his friend Usagi Tsukino, among others.

Overall, Sora's personality remains mostly true to his canon self, though he's gotten a look at a world containing a lot more mature elements (both positive and negative) than his previous adventures in Disney's worlds have allowed, and made a romantic connection he never expected to make. I'd like if he could summon/banish his keyblade at will like in canon (he also regained this ability in Interstellar), and be able to use his magic spells too (those can totally help with farming, right?). You might also get more musical numbers from this Sora than other versions - you can take the boy out of the boyband but you can't take the boyband out of the boy!

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? N/A

Canon: OC/Dungeons and Dragons
Character: Melanthieae
Variation: Idk if it counts but the campaign I created her for is set in a more Final Fantasy 6-ish steampunk/dieselpunk-ish setting where magic and tech comingle a little more than you might expect of a D&D game. There's even a magic equivalent of the internet, we've recently discovered. Also all our characters have Limit Breaks.
About: Melanthieae - or Mela, to those less flexible with the sylvan tongue - was born of a tree in the Slumbering Woods, a quiet, peaceful forest that the mun literally just came up with the name off now on the edge of a small human city. She spent the better portion of a century living the normal life of a dryad; helping the forest thrive, basking in the warm sun, occasionally aiding or teasing a lost adventurer, and honing her skills in the druidic arts. But as decades passed, that small human city grew into a larger human city, and over time, the care they used to take regarding their neighboring glen was cast aside. Fewer trees they cut down for lumber were being replanted, animals hunted in dangerous amounts, and as industry grew, the air, water, and soil were slowly infested with pollutants, and the forest began to rot and die. Melanthieae fell gravely ill, and was forced to flee before the toxins took her life too. Finally finding clean air and water nursed her back to health, but they couldn't cleanse her of the toxins that had already seeped deep into her roots.

Life as a polluted dryad isn't easy, and outside of her homeland, Melanthieae found herself an outcast in almost every way - other dryads were repulsed by her disease and didn't permit her passage in their own forests, and most human habitations were too dense and smokey for her to stay long. With nowhere else to go, she bartered a trip to the new world, which suffered even worse of the indifference the more humanoid races showed to the likes of her. Until one day, she and several others of unusual race for the area - two dragonborn, a cloud giant, a baaz draconic, a mantid, a werewolf, and a tiefling - were summoned by a fast-talking centaur who strongarmed them into collectively purchasing, of all things, an airship! None of them could afford it, of course, but they were given a generous loan to repay by using their new home and the pre-hired crew to acquire jobs to help pay it back. And that's where Mela's life as an adventurer began, and for all we know that's totally how she got yanked into this Starhue Valley, who knows.

Melanthieae is a woman of many layers. She is amiable and polite, nurturing, and even motherly. As a being of nature, she is a firm believer in equivalent exchange and repaying what is taken, shows kindness to others by default unless given a reason not to, and always keeps promises she makes and expects the same of others. But she is not naive, and when need arises, she is a ruthless, deadly force to be reckoned with, and if you harm one of her own or mistreat nature, you will find yourself on the receiving end of her scimitar. As a spirit of the forest, she also has a sense of humor and a mischievous side, and may retaliate against minor offenses with pranks or a witty tongue. For all she's suffered, Mela is curious about the rest of the world, and eager to learn in her adventures on the airship. Mechanically, Melanthieae is a level 3 druid, which mainly gives her the benefits of druid spells of levels 1 and 2, along with the cantrips Thorn Whip, Druidcraft, and Poison Spray (though the latter is totally because she's a polluted tree, shhhh).

(Also as a note, dryad lifestyle is very, ahh....clothing optional. Would I be correct in assuming that I should play it more kid-friendly and get her dressed for this game? XD)

Canon: OC from a vaguely Fullmetal-Alchemist-esque world
Character: Phalanx
Variation: Straight from canon-ish, though they will retain memories of anyone met while museboxing/PSLing elsewhere, because worldhopping and timebending ain't no thang for this creature.
About: The quickest way to describe Phalanx is that they are like a stack of kids in a trench coat trying to get into an adult movie, if those kids were actually a pile of ghost-pieces inhabiting one body, and they were trying to pass as a single entity. On the outside, they are an unsettling-but-extremely-harmless-looking human, but it's all kinds of crowded and crazy on the inside.

They don't know how they came to exist, or why, or what all of these disjointed memory pieces they have actually mean, but life is a pretty great thing and they're happy to be here. Phalanx is a generally placid and friendly being, if chronically confused, and has been wandering without a place to be for as long as they can remember existing in this body. They will very much appreciate having a space of their own in this Valley... even if they'll end up wandering away from their own property more often than not.

Phalanx will ping as magical, haunted, maybe even as undead, to those who can sense it, but they are not a tormented bundle of spirits. Who knows what they might be capable of if they'd actually had their shit together, but since even talking and walking is a frequent challenge, they're basically the most harmless, amiable eldritch horror you will ever meet.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? No, not at this time. Also in canon he has a younger identical twin brother Kanon, so that’s plenty of other versions of himself enough. This may change in the future if I change my mind later. AU or CRAU versions of his castmates are fine however!
Canon: Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac
Character: Gemini Saga or simply Saga
Special note: I may NPC his twin brother Kanon occasionally for plot purpose, but Saga is the main front for the entire roleplay
Variation: Post Canon AU
About:

In Saint Seiya, there are celestial warriors who are born and predestined by the Universe for the purpose of fighting for the Greek Goddess Athena. The Goddess role on Earth is to protect humanity and Earth from the destructive wishes and wraths of the other Greek Gods, who were a part of her Olympian family who wish to purify the Earth in their divine judgment of humanity. Because Athena loves humanity with compassion and protects them and defends them in all fairness and justice, this puts her in odds and ends with her Olympian Family of the Gods. Since the age of Myth, she goes holy war with them with her celestial soldiers against their enemies. Numerous Gods she fought against in these wars are Poseidon, Hades, Apollo, just to name a few of her natural divine nemesis.

These celestial warriors are called Saints or otherwise known as Knights of the Zodiac aptly named after the constellations of the stars in the heavens. Gemini Saga is one of the knights as a part of Athena’s army. They are so called celestial warriors as the source of their spiritual powers comes from their Cosmos, which is their spirit energy and their soul that is aligned with their birth star of the constellations. For Saga, his constellation is the twins, Gemini. There are Pegasus, Swan, Sagittarius, Leo, just to name a few. Cosmos is an important term in the universe of Saint Seiya to describe one's soul power and spiritual energy as it was more aligned with the warrior’s attacks used in battle. When Saga was a child, he was trained his entire life to really tune to this energy, this part of his soul that is connect to the universe and to his attacks.

Saga quickly grew in rank and become a gold saint, which is the highest rank in Saint Seiya. Below Gold is silver and then bronze. Being a Gold Saint means being one of the 12 top zodiac knights in Athena’s army. As proof of his knighthood and service to Athena, he was bestowed the Gemini Gold Armor, and he wears the armor as long he is the guardian of the Gemini Temple, out of the 12 temple that gaurded Athena in the Sanctuary in Greece. He also has a twin brother Kanon, who is also a Gemini Saint, and shared the same powers as him, and equal strength.

Saga is a calm individual, with a kindness of an angel, but battling inner demons. In the series, he suffered from a dual split personality, where his twin brother cursed him, and forced it to awaken his "inner demon" that made Saga commit crimes where he had no control over his actions and has little memory as he isn't lucid when his evil personality took over. The evil personality was exorcised by Seiya's cosmos during his battle at the 12 temples.

Anyway here's the AU part: I pulled him from Post Canon from the Hades Arc after Athena's Holy War against Hades. The AU part is that no saint died except Sagittarius, as the position is open for Seiya.

After the battle at the 12 temples, Athena cleansed him and pardoned him with her forgiveness and restored his honor as a saint. Kanon followed suit after the battle of Poseidon, and his honor was restored. With their evil cleansed, Saga and Kanon shared their duties and roles as the Gemini Saint at the Gemini Temple and renewed their vows to fight for Athena's core values of justice and protecting her ideals for the good of all.

As for personality, he's a quiet, calm guy, who thinks alot about his honor and duty to his Goddess as a celestial knight. He's all for justice and equality and being fair and kind to everyone. While he is healed ad cleanse from his evil dual personality, and becomes whole again, he's learning how to forgive himself for the evil deeds his other self-had done. He believes he can make up for it, by serving the community.

PS: Also since this character is pretty rare, I may NPC his twin brother Kanon to make a guest appearance if plot demands under the same account as the brothers are very close and have each other's backs, but won't go overboard as Saga shall remain the main character throughout my roleplay.

Canon: Fire Emblem: Dawn of Radiance
Character: Leanne
Variation: Canon
About: Leanne is a cheery, gentle and naive princess of the Heron clan of the Laguz race, a race of people who can change into animals. Though she is also a troll and a brat to those who know her well enough. After the slaughter of her people and being one of the small handful of survivors, she was raised by the trees of her home forest, fully believing she is the last of her kind. She has gained a special bond with nature that is different from what a Heron would normally have.

Despite witnessing them slaughtering her people, she has forgiven them completely of the crime. Choosing to let go of any and all anger towards them. But it doesn't mean she can't fear them as well as fire, and being alone. Those are her three biggest fears that can easily paralyze her, but she will often try her best to face her fear head-on to over come it. This is due to her mother's last wish for her: To become the light and hope for humans and Laguz alike.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? original character do not steal Probably not but if someone really wanted to pick up an AU talk to me... I guess...?!

Canon: OC
Character: Lilith and Samael
Variation: CRAU from aforestdark_rp
About: Samael is an Arbiter— a parasitic native of the "country of the unjustly dead," a forested afterlife where those who died when they were fated to live go when they've passed. There, the Arbiters put them through assorted trials so that they can prove that they're worthy of a second chance at life to fix the mistake that killed them. Anyone who is not deemed worthy is doomed to stay, their soul degrading over time— unless they agree to become an Arbiter's host body.

Lilith was a frankensteinian construct who lived a short and unhappy life full of such tragedies as being treated as a monster and accidentally killing everyone she ever loved before finally being hunted down and killed. Upon arriving in the Forest, she pretty quickly decided that because her life was awful she didn't have an interest in going back to life. Her original plan was to let her soul rot... but when Samael lost her original host body, since they had become friends she begged to be allowed to take his place instead. They're both pretty happy with this decision!

Personality-wise, Lilith is somber, frequently morbid and/or dramatic, and has an incredibly nasty temper when provoked— but she's also kind of a dorky nerd when she lets her guard down, and she's got a soft spot a mile wide for children, animals, and people in pain that they don't deserve. Samael is mostly quiet and curious: as a creature whose sole purpose was to judge the dead, she's fascinated by people's lives and the stories they have to tell and finds them all valuable. Being the babysitter for a bunch of upset dead people has also lead her to become patient and very, very difficult to ruffle.

With their game's plot resolved and the people they cared for going back to their lives, a chance to settle down somewhere quiet without having to worry about an ongoing apocalypse or putting people through hell for their own good is incredibly welcome, thanks. I have one friend who might bring either someone from her past or someone from the forest, but aside from that she has no relationships on arrival.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? ABSOLUTELY! I just ask that there be no spoilers for One Piece past where I've currently watched, which I will add and keep updated to Zoro's journal before gamestart (currently just finished the episode right before the big cage-on-a-crane breakout of Punk Hazard).

Canon: Naruto
Character: Uchiha Sasuke
Variation: Ryslig Gargoyle
About: Uchiha Sasuke is originally a pale young male human with dark hair. He is originally from a shounen manga about shinobi with magic powers, and he's bitter and spiteful and withdrawn and OP BUT WE'RE HERE TO FIX ALL THAT.

Monster info page with images, physical description, and psychological descriptions of changes brought on by being forcibly transformed into a gargoyle by the game setting.

Sasuke was on the Ryslig peninsula for 2 years as far as game-canon, then another year in AUs, making him roughly 20. During that time he made deep bonds with his brother Itachi (as a Shade), whom he lived with, doing some healing and undoing some of the old hurt. He became physically and (sort of emotionally constipatedly) romantically involved with Percy Jackson from Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Blood of Olympus, which also sort of forced him to come out of his shell because Percy will do that to you kicking and screaming. He also formed friend bonds with some unexpected characters, made enemies of others. He underwent yet another arc of being seduced by a dark power in exchange for the power to spite his enemies, LIKE YOU DO, and Percy helped pull him out of it, LIKE HAPPENS IN SHOUNEN. He'll be coming to Starhue thinking that the world of Ryslig has ended catastrophically, leaving him unable to rejoin gamecanon, and that he is dead in his own canon, leaving him unable to rejoin that timeline. He's going to keep all his weird Ryslig powers and body and possibly regain some canon powers for funsies. Welcome to early retirement and tomato farming! I'll add this and some additional info to his journal before gamestart.

Canon: One Piece
Character: Roronoa Zoro
Variation: Mostly-canon, just post-timeskip, though I'll probably "canon update" as I catch up with the series.
About: A 21-year-old human male with a huge scar across his chest and another scar apparently blinding his left eye. He's a renowned swordsman and former bounty hunter, now pirate with his own huge bounty, from a mostly-ocean world that is rife with piracy and where the main struggles across the oceans are the pirates against the (corrupt) Navy and (even more corrupt) World Government and World Nobles. He's the first mate of the Straw Hat Pirates and will jump in to negotiate or take point if the captain isn't around. This world "doesn't have magic," though it does have:
- Fishmen (and women) / Merpeople (same species); Mink (mammal-mixed people) (a third species)
- "Devil Fruits" which when eaten grant humanoids, animals and even inanimate objects strange powers (including transformation into animals, elements, and substances, the ability to change the type or arrangement of one's body or environment, Marvel mutant type powers, etc.)
- "weather science" which does use science-based rules (cold and warm fronts, wind, etc.) to affect the weather in an area, though honestly creating these changes is basically magic
- "Haki" and other types of powers based entirely on willpower and stances etc. (treat this like most shounen anime chi tbh) that do things like make body parts harder than steel, allow a person to sense the presence of others, radiate one's indomitable will to make others pass out, make one's body hard and immovable, allow one to run so fast they catch fire or run and jump on the microscopic particles in the air to "sky walk," it goes on.
BUT IT'S NOT MAGIC GUYS.

Zoro uses a three-sword style (one sword in each hand and one in his teeth) and stances / chi / willpower / etc. to move at inhuman speeds, create blasts of force or semi-elemental damage, cut through stone and steel through a Buddhist-adjacent focus on the reality of the universe, etc. He has a Manly Code of Honor which is more of a poorly-translated Personal Samurai-esque Code and his life goals are to live his own way without letting others force him to abide, and to become the world's greatest swordsman. He is incredibly anti-sexist and anyone who thinks that women can't be as strong as men makes him fiercely angry. He's both hard-working / hard-training and very easygoing and lazy, very loyal, a bit dumb but very clever at insults and challenges and riling others up, always excited to take a challenge head-on, and completely willing to take hits and humiliation to spare it to others. He has no sense of direction and no self-awareness of this whatsoever even when it's explicitly pointed out.

He'll wake up on the bus haven fallen asleep on the ship on the way to Punk Hazard, and constantly have trouble catching the bus again in any direction. He'll be pissed to be stuck but happy to train, cut down monsters for food, and grow tea. He's easygoing enough that CR will be fairly easy for him even if he is a bit blunt and dense.

Crafted by the gods as a guardian of Giruvegan, Belias came out... wrong. A horrific fusion of man and beast, he was discarded, forced to roam the world outside the realm of Summoned Beasts. At first, Belias was full of wrath - until he met the future uniter of Ivalice, the future Dynast-King, Raithwall. They sparred for days, until they kissed. The two had fallen in love. To hide his faces, Raithwall gifted Belias masks. A sign of their bond. The two also had children - with the blood of Esper, Belias could forever have a part of Raithwall.

For he was Mortal, like so many others. Raithwall died, and Belias took the task of guarding his tomb. However, Fate had other plans. Sects of Ivalicians kept the secret of calling on Belias, on taking control of a God. Like how he battles Raithwall, it was rumoured that a sacrifice done right for Belias would give them control, for a time. This was only done in desperate times - for the weak would not call on the Esper. It turned out that this did not only control Belias, but changed the man fused to his flesh.

Oftentimes, Belias hated them, and let them wither in the flames. But, it was when inside the canon timeline of Final Fantasy XII that Belias found a worthy other. Mortals had entered his tomb, and one had sacrificed another right at his doors. The sacrifice was of Basch, given by Vossler. Though he did not know why, Belias mourned for the body - and gave it life again, fusing their minds so the corpse could stand again.

Belias had found a new person to care for. Basch fell for Balthier during their quest however - not knowing that Balther was, too, touched by the Gods. (He had been experimented on, given Occurian blood.) But as their journey ended, Balthier confessed his immortality - after seeing Basch show his true form, so they could enter Giruvegan.

But it was not soon after canon that Belias and Basch lost contact with the world again, power fading into a strange stone given to Lord Larsa. Unable to be summoned again, Belias and Basch both felt anger unlike any other. Belias for having trusted Mortals, and Basch for somebody trapping him once more.

Time shifted, and the two fully fused into a single being. The Lucavi, Belias, who controlled Wiegraf in Final Fantasy Tactics. For a moment, Belias saw a familiar kindness in Ramza - and that moment of weakness turned to traveling with him, as a summoned beast. Again, he had turned away from immortals. And again, he met Balthier, who had never returned to Ivalice after their adventure with the Aegyl. He had been trapped here. The two spent many years together, until... Ivalice crumbles away, and Belias slept again, once again in the Stone.

Until awakening within the Ridorana Lighthouse, and again seeing that kindness in the eyes of the Warrior of Light - again, joining them as a lonely, bitter, sheep-esque beast. He comes to this realm because he is afraid of losing those he cares for again.

Canon: Undertale
Character: Flowey (Asriel)
Variation: CRAU from Lost Carnival
About: Flowey is from Undertale, the RPG where nobody has to die! ... Except Flowey would love you too. After the pacifist ending of the game, Flowey lost all of his compassion, but became more subdued than his true personality. Shortly after, he was carted away to Lost Carnival, and given the opportunity to regain his emotions. The deal goes like this; if Flowey experiences a new emotion in contact with someone else, he'll gain it back permanently. Once he recovers the whole spectrum of feelings, he'll return to his old self, Asriel, as if he had pieced back together his soul.

In LC, Flowey made some close friends who wanted to protect and take care of him, and old enemies who remembered him from scathingly terrible timelines. In both situations, he was still very much a child picking up the pieces of his lost feelings, trying to remember how to deal with people empathetically. So far, he's gained a lot of fear and hateful feelings back, but also a few kind ones. The kind ones in particular include 'kinship', so he'll be drawn towards people who come from similar situations as him.

Canon: Steven Universe
Character: Rose Quartz (Pink Diamond)
Variation: Canon
About: Rose is pretty terrible.

That's not to say she isn't nice-- she is! -- But she is a coward through and through. Having started a war to escape the Diamond hierarchy and live as a normal gem on Earth, she is the reason countless gems had been shattered by faking her own death as Pink Diamond and going on to live as Rose Quartz. As Rose, she acted as the leader of the rebellion against herself, hoping that this would let the Diamonds have her leave Earth alone. Rose truly loves Earth and all of its beauty, its people, and their way of life-- and she sacrificed countless gems for it to happen. She was responsible for a near-genocide of people who looked up to her as a beacon of freedom.

What's more, she doesn't seem to have any guilt for this. You can even go so far as to say she's childish. Happy to live out thousands of years as the Legend, beloved by her Pearl and Garnet, she would play with humans but not treat them as her equal. It's only when she met Greg that she started to see humans as something more, and as a result... had a baby, as her final escape into the human world, to live and love being part of a human.

Yikes, Rose!

Canon: Star Wars
Character: Plo Koon
Variation: Original flavor

About: A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, there were humans, about a billion species of muppets aliens, and an order of kung fu space wizards known as the Jedi. Cue dramatic theme music.

As martial arts movie archetypes go, Plo Koon is essentially the cool/chill version of the Old Master (not to be confused with the Little Old Master, that one goes to Yoda, who can still kick his butt). His most strongly emphasized character trait, in all his stories from The Clone Wars to comics and novels, is his kind and compassionate nature; he is the tall, scary/evil looking, at-first-glance-inscrutable alien who is actually very polite, painfully Lawful Good, has a quiet sense of humor, and loves to hug babies. He has knelt in the dirt and comforted dying xenophobes. He's just like that.

He is also dutiful, honorable, and self-sacrificing, which unfortunately were used against him, as even the most high-ranking Jedi got dragged into a distracting conflict with the evil Sith who were leading an attack on the Republic - the Jedi never quite uncovering, until it was too late, that the Sith were already here. Oops! They dead now, Plo included.

Being that he is dead in his proper reality, Plo has nowhere to go but back to death. He does not fear being dead (Jedi don't believe death as we understand it is even a thing, it's complicated) but after years of war and being violently murdered by trusted friends he could do with a quiet, humble existence somewhere for a little while, flying under the radar and helping others. That's how Jedi prefer to roll, when they have the choice. It's practically a tradition.

Canon: Tales of Symphonia
Character: Yuan Ka-Fai
Variation: Canon-based, CRAU from Paradisa, Drift Fleet, and (why not) Tales of Dressing back on LJ
About: A veteran of multiverse travel, Yuan has been taken into and thrust back out of enough worlds to have some idea of how this works. He spent five years in a jamjar castle, where he pseudo-adopted a half-angel and a half-devil, wound up in a relationship with his best friend for a couple of years, fell in love with a different castmate sometime after said best friend had left, got to hook up with his canon fiancee again before he could do anything about that, and spent some time attempting to run the local peacekeeping organization before ultimately disbanding it. Sometime later, he wound up on a spaceship traveling from planet to planet, without any memory of the first place (at first). He made some other friends there, and connected with a couple of people who had known him in the castle, but ultimately got thrown back from the Fleet right before he would have started properly regaining the memories of that time.

Somewhere outside of time, there was another dressing room known as Zelore. Zelore is the reason he won't be surprised by duplicates - he knew several copies of his best friend's son, his best friend, his fiancee and her little brother, among many others, all dipping in and out of a little town surrounded by forest, all with slightly different memories and timelines.

Yuan is tired. He is not the same person he was when Cair Paradisa first took him, and it's not in his nature to want to go back to being something he isn't anymore. A quiet life might not suit him, but it's no different from what he'd face at home anyway - he'll adapt. He's good at adapting.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? Yes all across the board (I'd make the joke of "but two of them are OCs so lol how" but I've allowed other people to play my OCs before.)

Canon: Original.
Character: Victoria "Tori" Marie Crawford.
Variation: Straight from "canon."
About: Tori is a 20-year-old young woman with all the abandonment issues in the world, accompanied by a side-helping of daddy issues due to her father being neglectful as she grew up. The fact that her father then sacrificed herself to save her life hasn't helped that much. Despite this, she's still very fun-loving and sociable, and once you gain her loyalty you basically have it for life. She'll also tease you regardless of how she feels about you, loves both fashion and firearms, and has an intense soft spot for children. She's also what her world calls a "wind elemental."

She has just finished with a three-year long struggle with a man who claimed she was a "fragment" of him, who had aimed to kill her before she could gain half of his power. He ultimately failed and was destroyed, leading to Tori gaining all of his power -- a stronger version of her already existent ability to control and create wind (which will remain in tact upon arrival), and a darker sort of magic that's going to be automatically nerfed upon arrival. Having been given the opportunity to take the original position of the man who had gone after her -- as a guardian and protector of her world -- Tori will instead be showing up here. It's been a long three years, full of terrifying revelations, threats upon her and her loved ones, and a bunch of other unsavory things. She just wants to relax and start feeling like herself again.

Canon: Original Character.
Character: John Edward Brunett "Jeb" Parmalee.
Variation: CRAU from Luceti!
About: Jeb is a nineteen-year-old boy who hails from the same world as Tori (and is extremely close to her -- to the point of romantic involvement, though I'll probably have them be in an open relationship here if that's all right.) Had he remained at home, he would also be coming from right after the three year conflict mentioned above. However, as he was originally taken to Luceti at age sixteen, returned to his world for a year (in his world's time, Luceti-wise it was only a few hours to a day), then got pulled back to Luceti, he has only experiened a year of that conflict. The rest of the time he's spent in the famous place with the wings, having his memories altered in various experiments, making various friends, trying to break through to someone he had promised to remain by the side of during one of the aforementioned experiences, helping a Pokemon trainer who once only cared about strength to find friendship and a new family, and the part he's the least fond of: being drafted to fight on occasion. These battles have left their mark on Jeb in a negative way, as he was forced to kill, landed himself with a nasty scar on his back, and even died once.

Despite everything he's gone through, he's still the same person he was at the beginning: a gentle idealist who believes in the beauty of the world and the goodness in everyone. If anything, what he's gone through has ultimately strengthened his resolve to see the good in everything. There's only two exceptions to him being able to see the best in others, and one of those is himself -- he finds himself to be plain and helpless, and not worth the investment others put in him. Despite that thought, he at least tries to be the person his loved ones see in him. He's an earth elemental, having the ability to create and manipulate plant life (useful for farming?), create small rocks and heal people to an extent. He's somewhat shy and easily flustered, but friendly and easily approachable. He's an artist at heart, and that will probably reflect in his farming.

Just to note, while he had major CR with a Mithos in Luceti, he won't be interacting with the AU Mithos I'm picking up (and I'm riding on the idea that they never cross paths for this.) I'll also be playing him as if he found his way here right after leaving Luceti, despite the game ending years ago.

Canon: Tales of Symphonia.
Character: Mithos Yggdrasill.
Variation: AU, slight CRAU from talesofdressing @ LJ.
About: This Mithos is a tad different from his canon self as he hails from a version of his world where his, Kratos and Yuan's roles are all swapped. In his version of things, he is Origin's Seal (and the traitorous mercenary who travels alongside Lloyd's group), Kratos is the leader of the Renegades and Yuan is the leader of Cruxis. Timeline-wise, he's just revealed himself to Lloyd's group as a member of Cruxis and one of the four Seraphim, marking himself as a traitor to them.

Instead of the cruel and crazed individual obsessed with reviving his sister that he is in canon, this Mithos a more subdued version of the hero he used to be. There's traces of his once idealistic self to be found, but mostly he's just worn down. He's become disillusioned in the idea of reviving Martel, knowing she'd be disappointed in all they've done to allow it to happen, but he can't bring himself to turn on "Lord Yuan" just yet. However, during his travels with Lloyd and the others, he had made true connections with them, leaving him feeling guilty for turning his back on them. Like canon, he can use his Cruxis Crystal to change his form, assuming a more adult appearance when taking care of official Cruxis business in order to be taken seriously. Unlike canon, the color of his wings is a pale, almost sicky green. He also has memories of a place called Zelore, where he met people who were more used to his canon self as well as other versions of himself. There was much confusion.

As one final note, I'm going with the idea that the bus back home has broken down for him.

Canon: Pokemon XY/XYZ (anime)
Character: Augustine Sycamore (Last name will be Sauveterre due to his AU variation)
Variation: CRAU/AU with Recolle
About: Originally a Pokemon Professor from the Kalos region, Augustine was reincarnated as Augustine Sauveterre, an ordinary university professor in the city of Recolle. However, after obtaining a strange social media app called the Retrospec, he finds himself in several phenomena and regaining the memories of his past life.

Due to living in a world without Pokemon, Augustine is not very knowledgeable about them as even regaining his memories only allowed him to remember some of Pokemon's species names and little information about their abilities. He can also be a bit inexperienced in giving out advice to his students or anyone he tries to help out. He also speaks more French than his anime canon and can be a bit of a flirt, but he retains some of his canon's personality such as his love of animals and his habit of helping anyone in need. Currently, he regained his Garchomp (nicknamed Modeste), Fennekin (nicknamed Fiu), and Froakie (nicknamed Bulle).

Due to the fact Augustine is still in Recolle (game), he will tend to take the bus to return to Recolle and often returns to Starhue Valley as his way to take a vacation after some unreality shenanigans.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? OOCily sure, ICily the muse would preferred not to if he could help it
Canon: Hellsing Ultimate
Character: Alucard (other variants is Count Dracula and Vlad)
Variation: Canon-based, Castlevania, various Dracula based movies/novels, and PSL AUs.

About
This Alucard is AU and it's a mix-mashed of various AU PSLs I have done over the years, so the following bio will not match his canon information.

Unlike his canon counterpart, this Alucard is older and wiser, older than time that he has forgotten how old he is. He's centuries old, almost near a millennia. The character of this series is known to be hyper-super violent soldier who mastered every art of warfare, an arrogant asshole who loves to torture and humiliate strong opponents and tear them down to size in canon. He's one of those monsters who believe genocide is a form of righteous justice as long it's for revenge, which he found amusing like a game to him. Killing and murder is a sport for him, and starting wars as a warlord was what he likes to do to keep the adrenaline and rush to make him feel truly alive. He always seek strong opponents and he truly wish his opponent shall be a human worthy enough to end him, for that's his death wish.

He can't changed his violent past as Vlad, which left a stain in human history, and he did many mistakes during his time as Count Dracula concerning Mina. It was his life as Alucard being Integra's servant in her lifetime changed him as Integra open his eyes to his nature as a blood-thirsty monster who kills without remorse. He happily became her tool, as she is his commander in their war against the Major.

When his old master died from natural old age and he buried her, was when he has an epiphany, an awakening when he realized he did have a soul and he cursed himself and damned himself to walk on Earth for all eternity to never joined his beloved ones and his family in spirit on the Other Side. Devasted by her death, he realized he's forever alone and despite he has Seras, his fledging and only child as his heir to his powers, he is completely and utterly alone and unable to die. It's terrible living forever and unable to die.

He traveled to the Himalayan mountains to meditate in complete and total isolation like what the asceticism monks and hermits did, on a journey to do some soul searching. During his time there, he studies Eastern Practices, which he previoulsy rejected and mocked it before. Having raised with a Christian/Catholic religious upbringing and teachings, a religion where he grew up cursing and resenting their teachings of God with his very existence as he no longer cared for forgiveness or earning it.

One day, he woke up in the mountains with an 'aha!' moment and reached an degree of enlightenment. He tears down his previous beliefs and now meditates using Buddhist practices to meditate and contemplate the condition of his soul on how to reach Nirvana. Out of the mountains, he rose with a new sense Self and life purpose to stay on the path to reach Nirvana, though he often said his different forms and incarnations to reflect the era of the times really has no meaning. He now sees the true reality of his existence. He came to a realization of the mistakes he did and tried to practice pacifism to reform and redeem himself.

Still a sinner because of his bloody past, but not quite a saint, he becomes a changed man. While he was somewhat enlightened and has a degree of deep regret and remorse over his past, a part of him is still evil, and in a way, his consciousness is split into both good and evil, reflecting a dual nature of his conflicting views within him. He decides to focus his sight on the future and work on training himself to overcome his own short-comings and weakness, repenting for his sins.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? YYY.

Canon: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Character: Alec "Alice" Liddel
Variation: AU'd really hard, playing fast and loose with a handful of musebox canons because what even is reality for Alec anyway.
About: Alice has been genderswapped to Alec (sort of) and the events of the book correlate more directly with messed up stuff happening during his childhood, and now he's all grown up and struggling to fit in with normal people in a normal world full of normal things like "remembering to feed yourself" and "going outside" and "please stop arguing with the cat, you're making everyone nervous."

He's a very good boy who tries hard, but he has problems relating to the real world, and finds it all too easy to get lost in Other Places. He is extremely curious about everything, reads very large books, relates very well to children. He sometimes spaces out and has trouble remembering what is real and what was made up. As a character, he has the potential to dive into some pretty heavy themes (abuse, gender dysphoria, disassociation, loneliness, self-destructive escapism), but he is also perfectly good for happy, fluffy threads about tea time and talking to animals and telling stories about the time he followed a rabbit down a rabbit hole.

Canon: Tales of Symphonia
Character: Kratos Aurion
Variation: Post Canon with AU and PSL elements. Also, he's from the Colette-path, the happy ending path, so Zelos is very much alive

About
Picking up from events post game, Kratos left Lloyd behind to take care and clean up the mess and sins of Cruxis on Derris-Kharlan and care for the lifeless beings and inhabitants who live there. The planet wandered through space, and during all of that time, Kratos is lonely and he watched Lloyd and his friends from afar as a lonely single dad. Such a simple dad. He spent a lot of time meditating and thinking about his role to his child, as his child grow up and eventually settled down and married Colette, whom he now sees as a daughter in law. Never before in his life he imagined he'll have a family again after he lost them in an unfortunate accident. Therefore, the reunion with his son really change his perspectives in his role and relationship with members of Cruxis.

The only AU part is that he did visit Lloyd and his friends with every chance he get. Derris-Kharlan didn't wander that far into space. In fact, it becomes a satellite, a moon in one of Aesllia's farthest orbit. So traveling between both planets isn't too far off.

A very quiet, if not often silent man. He's a swordsman and a mentor to the group and taught his techniques to a very chosen few. He said very few words. Deep inside that stern, stoic expression is a serious and very caring personality, holding a lot of guilt and regret, and yet thanks to his son, he now has the hope to carry on and hold responsibility for his past and the people on Derris-Kharlan who are lost, while watching and monitoring the slow mana growth and its World Tree of the unification of both worlds, Sylvarant and Tethe'alla.

Note
- Mun never played Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New world, but since it's canon, spoilers are okay since...I have to watch youtube anyway for canon review.

- In Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, Kratos is the leader of Ad Libitum, a guild with a mission to help the people of the world, fighting injustice and oppression, and protect everyone.

Canon: DuckTales 1987 (technically)
Character: Louie Duck
Variation: AU
About: (I'm just gonna copypaste from his info page on his journal)

Louie comes from a magic-based, "All Myths Are True" world in which ordinary humans and more animal-based people have existed together since the beginning of time. Though the history between them hasn't always been kind (in fact, people like him were, quite literally, demonized in ancient history), the modern era has seen things stabilize. This is due in part to the past couple centurys' rise of the feral beasts of the realm known as Chaotics and the need to stand together to beat them back. But in that is another story for another time.

Louie's history is roughly analagous, to a point, to the 1987 version of DuckTales, with flair from the Disney comics thrown in. He and his brothers were born in the earliest 80's, met their uncle Scrooge in their youth, then stayed with him for a while as Donald left, not to join the Navy in this world, but to learn his magic. Magic goes through the entire (Mc)Duck line, and though not everybody has it, Donald has become quite an accomplished mage cough Kingdom Hearts inspiration here cough. It was later discovered that Scrooge and Louie also both possess magical abilities.

In his adulthood Louie spends his time wandering the globe from bazaar to market to shop, peddling goods of all kinds, always exploring and trading for new ones. He continues to learn his magic, and otherwise lives his life as a terminal drop-in character around McDuck Manor in Duckburg.

Magical Abilities
  • Water Kinesis - He's still somewhat new at it, but can form water with his hands, move it around, and control its flow. Basically first to second level waterbending stuff.

  • Cure - He's very adept at this spell, and while he can't completely remove all injuries, he can heal minor ones completely, and can set more major ones on the path to recovery, stabilizing any patient.

  • Telekinesis - One he's still working on, but he has some medium psychic ability. He can move roughly watermelon-sized objects and smaller, and can create short-lived barriers.

  • Alternate Forms - The laws of his homeworld give him both a full duck form and a human form he can take on at will.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? Yes!

    Canon: Hellsing Ultimate
    Character: Rip van Winkle.
Variation: Canon based with AU/PSL elements appearing after her canon death.
    About:

Rip was a solider devoted to The Majors cause right up until her death by Alucard. She used his cause to try and further her own ends, desperate and eager to prove to herself and especially to those that dismissed her that she was a worthy soldier and huntress. This pure desire drove her to accept being a vampire and then spending the next fifty years training and hunting to sharpen her skills with her chosen gun, a Jezail musket to the point where she could take aim and shoot down multiple targets with one shot!

Nothing escaped her sights and she took pride in that very fact. Right up until she met Alucard on the battlefield a second time. He completely overwhelmed her senses, sending the huntress into a panic that resulted in the deaths of her crew and eventually, her own death at his hands. He impaled her to the wall by her own musket and then devoured her, claiming her soul for his very own.

Rip only knew darkness from that moment on. She was in some void with millions of other voices trying to overwhelm her and make her one of the millions. Yet, she resisted. Rip did NOT want to loose her sense of self and everything that made her.. HER. She screamed and fought against the darkness, the insanity! She remembered vaguely being forced into a battle and then burned, only to return to the void.. only the voices were less and less now.

Rip did not want to die, she wanted to live.. to survive! She threw everything she had into her desperate desire and finally, she saw a light! An end to the darkness and insanity. She emerged onto the remains of what was once London, the dawn after the battle that raged through the night caused by The Major. With pure destruction and death all around her, Rip finally realized that the destruction she so craved really looked like. It opened her eyes a little as she wandered off the battlefield, seeking to learn more about what happened and to find a place to hide during the day.

For a time Rip wandered and learned more about the modern world. She visited battlefields but never participated in the war of humans against humans. She found there was no more artistry in war, not in modern days anyway. The more machines became involved, the less appealing it was to her.

Eventually she wandered from city to city, taking lovers for a time. But, there was always something that made her control on that unending hunger of hers slip and she'd murder a few humans and be forced to move. During her time wandering she had to come to terms with both her unending hunger.. and the fact that it was driving her to madness. The insanity and hunger seemed to go hand in hand! She fought it, tried to control it even! But, no matter what she tried...she always slipped up.

That lead her to consider isolating herself from humanity and with that in mind, she returned to Brazil. She settled in an abandoned bunker in the jungle. She fixed it up and made it her home. She worked on controlling herself. This lead to the childish and mercurial huntress becoming calmer as time passed on. As she slowly gained more control, she felt there was something missing.. something darker she couldn't explain.

Thirty years passed and she felt that darkness tug at her.. and it scared her. Rip knew that feeling! She needed to run... and so she ran.

About: For the most part, this Hiccup's story follows the timeline of the first "How to Train Your Dragon" movie. However, after Toothless' existence is revealed to Hiccup's father and the other vikings, things diverge from canon. Feeling he can never be understood by his people, Hiccup frees Toothless, who is to be used to track down other dragons. The two fly off, leaving Berk behind.

Hiccup spends the next five years or so as a nomad, with only Toothless as a real companion. And honestly? He's mostly okay with that. Sure, he misses his father and home at times, but as he grows from a teen to a young man, those times become few and far between. He adjusts to his new life well... The only real problem is that with Toothless by his side, he can never stay in one place for long at all, and that gets a little exhausting. And, well, maybe forming other bonds wouldn't be the worst thing...

As far as his personality goes, Hiccup is still very much the same character. He's bright, snarky, and cares deeply about his friends but is often down on himself. While he doesn't have his heroic actions to help instill confidence as he does in the films, he still has gained a level of confidence from surviving essentially on his own from such a young age. It's also worth noting that this version of Hiccup does not have an artificial leg, of course.
