Name: Pandora Rose Age: 30 Preferred Contact: PM to this journal or at plurk at thornheart Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? OOCily sure, ICily the muse would preferred not to if he could help it Canon: Hellsing Ultimate Character: Alucard (other variants is Count Dracula and Vlad) Variation: Canon-based, Castlevania, various Dracula based movies/novels, and PSL AUs.
About This Alucard is AU and it's a mix-mashed of various AU PSLs I have done over the years, so the following bio will not match his canon information.
Unlike his canon counterpart, this Alucard is older and wiser, older than time that he has forgotten how old he is. He's centuries old, almost near a millennia. The character of this series is known to be hyper-super violent soldier who mastered every art of warfare, an arrogant asshole who loves to torture and humiliate strong opponents and tear them down to size in canon. He's one of those monsters who believe genocide is a form of righteous justice as long it's for revenge, which he found amusing like a game to him. Killing and murder is a sport for him, and starting wars as a warlord was what he likes to do to keep the adrenaline and rush to make him feel truly alive. He always seek strong opponents and he truly wish his opponent shall be a human worthy enough to end him, for that's his death wish.
He can't changed his violent past as Vlad, which left a stain in human history, and he did many mistakes during his time as Count Dracula concerning Mina. It was his life as Alucard being Integra's servant in her lifetime changed him as Integra open his eyes to his nature as a blood-thirsty monster who kills without remorse. He happily became her tool, as she is his commander in their war against the Major.
When his old master died from natural old age and he buried her, was when he has an epiphany, an awakening when he realized he did have a soul and he cursed himself and damned himself to walk on Earth for all eternity to never joined his beloved ones and his family in spirit on the Other Side. Devasted by her death, he realized he's forever alone and despite he has Seras, his fledging and only child as his heir to his powers, he is completely and utterly alone and unable to die. It's terrible living forever and unable to die.
He traveled to the Himalayan mountains to meditate in complete and total isolation like what the asceticism monks and hermits did, on a journey to do some soul searching. During his time there, he studies Eastern Practices, which he previoulsy rejected and mocked it before. Having raised with a Christian/Catholic religious upbringing and teachings, a religion where he grew up cursing and resenting their teachings of God with his very existence as he no longer cared for forgiveness or earning it.
One day, he woke up in the mountains with an 'aha!' moment and reached an degree of enlightenment. He tears down his previous beliefs and now meditates using Buddhist practices to meditate and contemplate the condition of his soul on how to reach Nirvana. Out of the mountains, he rose with a new sense Self and life purpose to stay on the path to reach Nirvana, though he often said his different forms and incarnations to reflect the era of the times really has no meaning. He now sees the true reality of his existence. He came to a realization of the mistakes he did and tried to practice pacifism to reform and redeem himself.
Still a sinner because of his bloody past, but not quite a saint, he becomes a changed man. While he was somewhat enlightened and has a degree of deep regret and remorse over his past, a part of him is still evil, and in a way, his consciousness is split into both good and evil, reflecting a dual nature of his conflicting views within him. He decides to focus his sight on the future and work on training himself to overcome his own short-comings and weakness, repenting for his sins.
