So you want to join, huh? Well, it's easy!

Comment to this post with your name, contact, character, and 1-3 paragraphs describing a little bit about what will make them unique. What is their AU and how does it set them apart? What game were they part of? What relationships do they have on arrival? Do they have any motivations for staying here? If they're canon blank, go into why they would stay here or why they'd visit, and what's going on back in canon and some personality.

Canon: Dangan Ronpa (3)
Character: Juzo Sakakura / "Mallory"
Variation: Forest Covered CRAU
About: Once upon a time there was some kid who was so good at punching people that a very prestigious school looked at him and said "yes, this boy is the hope for humanity's future." He attended said school, made some other very talented friends, won a couple of championships, and then after graduating he took part in what was supposed to be a coup to hijack the school and steer it back toward its original purpose instead of the corrupt cash cow it became. But then the Despairpocalypse happened, some students went off to destroy the world, while others got locked in a murder game. Juzo and friends and other former students/staff of the school put together a team to try to right wrongs and triumph over evil but then they got trapped in a murder game too and the entire foundation fell apart in like 12 hours. Nice.

During that game Juzo got wrecked by half the cast, including his only surviving friend, and he decided that if he was going to die anyway he might as well try to put an end to the game so at least his bff could survive despite having turned on him. That's true love for you. That should have been the end of Juzo's story but then he found himself in Koriko, a magical island full of yokai and spirits and witches tricking mortals into shady contracts. Juzo didn't really have anywhere else to go, so he signed a contract and lost his name, becoming Mallory the PR Guy instead, because his life is one cruel joke.

But some good things happened in Koriko! He made a couple of new friends, somehow, and even reunited with his old ones. He came to terms with the fact that he was a boxer now missing an entire hand. He got a haircut. He slowly mended his relationship with his best friend and confessed his feelings, and confronted his guilt over letting himself be blackmailed into letting the Despairpocalypse happen. He grew appreciative of the fact that while Koriko was weird and full of dumb bullshit, it was a lot better than the hell back home.

He met his own double from another universe?! THAT was weird, but in the end it turned out doing wonders for working his issues out - someone who understood things he couldn't open up to other people about, who knew just the kind of smack in the face he needed, etc. Eventually he was able to change his self-hatred into self-acceptance and then into self-love. He was finally in a place that even when painful things were happening, there was some Hope after all, and it was nice. He felt less angry and anxious all the time and was able to be more open about his feelings... around the people who mattered, anyway.

Aaaand then he was on a bus and remembered his real name! But he's such a different person now, he'd rather just keep living as "Mallory" and leave his old life behind. After all, the pathetic coward named Juzo Sakakura died in that murder game.

Canon: Drakengard (2)
Character: Seere
Variation: Canon, but he's here because he's a time anomaly anyway
About: Okay, I'm going to gloss over the details but there are still references to some Dark Content in here. Just saying.

You wouldn't know by looking at him, but Seere is 24 years old. But he looks more like he's 6 because that's the age he was when his dying mother asked a Golem to form a pact with him and protect him from the war that was going on, but pacts come at a cost. For Seere it was his "time", or his ability to age - it seems to cause him intense pain whenever there's time distortion going on, too. It may even have something to do with the prophetic abilities he alludes to in the second game? Or the canon's just a mess. Drakengard! 2!

Anyway, at the tender age of 6 Seere was of course too naive to realize how that would impact him later on in life (and was even kind of excited for how it reminded him of his favourite fairy tale), so he focused on other matters. Like finding his twin sister, who his mother "lost track of" when they went out for a walk in the woods together. But their mother, who adored little Seere, also abused and neglected poor Manah almost constantly so there might have been more to that story. Just maybe.

So he joined up with a merry little band of vengeful serial killers, cannibals, doomsayers, and pedophiles, since those are the safest people a freshly orphaned child can travel with, and Seere spent a couple of cutscenes getting attacked by anything and everything, but he was okay in the end. Less okay was Manah, who was found possessed by horriffic old gods and leading an evil cult trying to bring about the end of the world. But that was just barely stopped, the twins were separated again, and Seere was taken in by Hierarch Verdelet to train as a priest and help maintain the seals that were keeping the world from falling apart once again.

Then 15 years later Caim, the friendly neighbourhood slaughter-happy protagonist from the first game, came and killed Verdelet so Seere had to step up and take his place as Hierarch. Which is a job Seere totally hates, by the way. Between having to manage the knights protecting the holy seals, managing the priesthood, and managing the seals placed on an increasingly distressed dragon, he also knew about all the dirty little secrets like how much the dragon was suffering or how many innocent people had to be sacrificed just to keep the seals active. And all kinds of other shady things. He'd really rather just hole himself up and lose himself in good books and, you know, find out if his sister's alive.

(She is, but he was put on a bus before getting to find that out.)

So here he is, ready to escape his awful responsibilities for a while and try farming with his pet rock. Seere has all of the wisdom and experience of an adult but still the body and mind of a child, so that's... something. He still wants to be adored by everyone around him, just like when his mom was around, so he avoids confrontation and burdening others whenever he can. And even though he's seen Some Shit, he likes to believe the best in people... and, of course, he still loves stories and myths. He's less whiny now, and can occasionally be a little morose. He'll try to be good and useful company, he promises!

Canon: Disney's Sleeping Beauty
Character: Princess Aurora
Variation: Original Universe
About:
Aurora is an extremely polite and kind young woman, who is extraordinarily charitable and gentle. She adores many things and is very forgiving. While she might be considered the stereotypical "princess" sort (she is a traditional Disney Princess after all), there is more than just that to the sixteen-year-old. Raised by only women in the middle of the woods for sixteen years, Aurora is rather independent and capable of taking care of herself with a number of skills gained from her life growing up in the forest. The only friends she ever had were the woodland creatures that lived nearby. She grew up a bit lonely, constantly told not to talk to other people and with how deeply she lived in the woods, she never met anyone regardless. She is a smart young woman, quick to spot when something is a bit odd but she is just as quick to let it go or to give things the benefit of the doubt. The young woman is both a dreamer and a realist (leaning more towards the dreamy sort of nature). Whilst she may find solace in the dreams she has, she is very much aware they are just dreams. She has a bit of whimsy in her, even though she is sixteen, she is still willing to play a bit of pretend, singing and dancing with woodland creatures when they try to cheer her up from her moments of sadness.

She loves her animal friends, which I should mention, Aurora can openly communicate with animals. She understands them, and they her. She can draw animals (and Aurora can actually cook, clean, sew, and knows how to live in a forest as she has lived in one for the first 16 years of her life. She's knowledgeable in what's safe to eat, herbs, berries, and a multitude of plant life. She also knows how to take care of small wounds and sicknesses with herbal treatments. Despite having her birthright kept secret from her, the three fairies did groom her for being a princess her entire life. She can dance, her manners are immaculate, and she is very courteous to people. Aurora can also fix things and build small items as there was only herself and her aunts growing up.

As for the reason she will want to stay, Aurora is coming in immediately following the pricking of her finger and knows that if she returns, she's returning to her curse followed by her betrothal to Prince Phillip. She knows she NEEDS to marry him but she would really rather... not. Not if it means she can dream and miss her peasant boy from the woods just a bit longer. Plus, she doesn't feel ready to be a princess! Even if her aunts were secretly training her for her entire life. She will be exactly like her canon self, not having changed at all and still scared of her curse upon her return.

Canon: C. S. Forester's Hornblower Saga
Character: Horatio Hornblower
Variation: Hunger Games AU PSL
About: Horatio was raised in District 11 by a loving and mostly stable nuclear family. Most of his childhood was spent in the orchards and then the fields with his fathers, while nights were spent baking with his mother in an attempt to eke out extra income. For the most part, Horatio had always been good at keeping his head down, which meant his only real torment was from Jack Simpson, another boy in his community. Happily, much of the older boy's torment was kept at bay by the protection of his closest friend, Archie Kennedy.

The Games were always a lurking reality, but something mostly kept in the back of his mind--until Archie was reaped. Watching took on a new horror, and then a new pain as the numbers dwindled and Archie kept surviving. What truly broke Horatio's heart was watching Archie, second to last man standing, ultimately killed viciously by a Career. It was staggeringly difficult to recover from, and Horatio was still off-kilter from the loss when he found himself reaped for the next year's Games, alongside his tormentor Simpson. Thankfully, through the machinations of his mentor Pellew, his week of training was spent with James Norrington (you know, the guy from PotC), a slightly older tribute and Career from District 1 who has promised to keep him safe as long as he can in the Arena.

Horatio is being pulled from the first night in the Arena, having just killed Jack Simpson. The most meaningful relationship he has right now is with James, without whom he's feeling more than a little lost, but that won't stop him from wanting to cling to Starhue with everything he's got. His farm reminds him of home, but a much better one--one where he's farming for himself and one where no one is going to abruptly pull him or anyone else he meets away into something as horrible as he personally understands the Games to be. He'll be skittish for a while, but nothing is going to knock him away from clinging to this bid at a heightened opportunity for something much better than normalcy.

Canon: Sengoku Basara
Character: Kojuro Katakura
Variation: Canon OU
About: Kojuro is the Team Mom of Sengoku Basara, basically.

He's a former child delinquent who got roped into being the swordsmanship tutor for an uppity little lord named Bontenmaru; they didn't even get along at first, but after a begrudging acceptance of each other's company out of duty, Bontenmaru lost his eye to disease and almost lost his claim to leadership of his clan. Kojuro wouldn't let this happen after all of their hard work, and vowed to dedicate his life to making up for Bontenmaru's lost eye, literally taking the title of Right Eye and almost becoming a big brother/parental figure in the wake of this loss. (Especially since Bontenmaru's mother shunned him once he lost his eye.) Even as Bontenmaru grew into Masamune, Kojuro's supported and tempered him in equal parts, unwavering in his loyalty.

All of this has made him almost infinitely patient, though not perfect; when it comes to a cause or person he cares deeply enough for, Kojuro's ex-delinquency comes out and he loses it. He's repeatedly thrown himself on the line with little thought for the welfare of his lord and clan, dedicated and furious and incredibly able with a sword. He's stern and intimidating, carries himself rigidly, and thinks of everyone but himself almost constantly; he also lacks frivolity as a rule, given that...Masamune's got a penchant for weird and wild shit. Six swords, horse with a muffler, christ almighty the things Kojuro has to put up with. He's definitely definitely the responsible adult of the entire ensemble, even if he's a little too doting once his loyalty and affection has been earned, and a lot too willing to just throw his life away if he thinks the ends justify the means.

(Kojuro also loves farming. Seriously, he loves farming and vegetables so damn much, it's probably what relaxes him after a long day of putting up with his beloved Hittou. That or playing the flute, which he's also apparently talented at. If he can just exist for himself for a little while and farm and make friends who aren't Date clan members, without having to worry about what his dumbass lord is doing back home...That would be a first, to be honest. Let this Kojuro live with his daikon in peace.)

Canon: Camp Half-blood Chronicles, specifically the end of Heroes of Olympus.
Character: Percy Jackson
Variation: Ryslig Harpy
About: Percy is the demigod son of Poseidon and de facto leader of the titular Camp Half-blood, a safe haven for other Greek demigods from the monsters that are attracted to their demigod scent. He has ADHD and dyslexia, which are explained in-universe as being caused by his innate battle reflexes and his brain being hard-wired to read Ancient Greek. The ADHD also causes difficulty in controlling his temper; when we are introduced to him, he mentions seeing a counselor for anger management. He is also a product of domestic violence by his stepfather, and that along with exposure to bullying due to being a disabled student gives him an extremely strong knee-jerk reaction to abuses of power.

Unless you hit this berserk button, though, Percy is charming, friendly, personable, and a little dorky; he's smart and has sharp instincts and can read others' emotions like a book, but is also denser than a brick and slow on the uptake when it comes to his own. Driven by a relentless need to protect and save, he's prone to becoming fixated on people he sees as misguided, and is prepared to punch them out in the process if necessary.

He arrived in Ryslig shortly after the end of Blood of Olympus, which took place several months after he fought his way out of Tartarus with his girlfriend. Being ripped from everyone he knew wreaked havoc on his mental state, along with the trauma he's been through already and the added horror of cannibalism; desperate for something to hold onto, he quickly built a found family and eventually opened a youth hostel for new arrivals in an abandoned hotel, which is still running under the care of Korra, one of his first close friends.

He also picked up a job at a local cafe, and began sublimating his feelings for his absent girlfriend on his boss, Enjolras (who also has blond curly hair and intense eyes); after a minor crisis of identity, he accidentally fell in puppy love with Sasuke Uchiha. The relationship started casually, but both quickly found themselves in over their heads; towards the end of their stay, Sasuke aligned himself with one of the two gods ruling over the peninsula while Percy remained aggressively, belligerently neutral, his trust in deities on a power trip being less than zero, and this caused a massive Shonen Fight that started with cold radio silence and ended with an all-out brawl. In typical Shonen Fight fashion, this allowed them to talk without fighting or accusing, and they made up during the process of dressing each other's wounds.

Like Sasuke, Percy will be coming from about a year after this under the impression that Ryslig is gone; unlike Sasuke, he's fairly sure there's another him running around based on the information he gathered from others at the peninsula, and doesn't want Annabeth to see him in his monstrous form having done the things he had to do. He will elect to stay suctioned like a barnacle to Sasuke, who is currently one of two bonds he has left, the other being the miniature de-powered form of his pet hellhound, Mrs. O'Leary.

Canon: Naruto
Character: Uchiha Itachi
Variation: [community profile] ryslig CRAU; Shade transformation
About: In the world he's from, being a child soldier is pretty much par for the course, and Itachi got started younger than most, which shockingly has led to him being a pretty fucked-up person. Because of politics and bullshit, he was manipulated as a teenager into murdering the entirety of his family in cold blood, and then decided to just carry that manipulation game forward by manipulating his little brother, the only survivor, into hunting him down and killing him in what was supposed to be revenge, but was DOUBLE-SECRETLY also supposed to be an incredibly fucked-up preparation for hunting down and killing the person pulling the strings on the person who pulled the strings on Itachi.

After he finally managed to die technically-kind-of at Sasuke's hands, Itachi thought that he was done with the bullshit, lies, and murder -- BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE. One of the actual villains of the series managed to pull off a massive (temporary) resurrection of just about every dead character that the series had accrued to that point, just to twist the knife, and so Itachi came back for Uchiha Feelings 2: Sharingan Boogaloo. Fortunately, because there had been a great deal of Important Exposition in the meantime, it meant that he and Sasuke could gain something like closure before Itachi went back to being dead, and naturally he left off by telling the little brother he'd orphaned, traumatized, tortured, and manipulated that he'd done it all out of love and blah blah BLAH cool motive still murder.

Upon dying the second time, Itachi thought that he was finally done for good, but that's when he got pulled into the charming world of Ryslig, where everyone who wasn't born there shows up and turns into some variation on a man-eating monster. His particular monster form was that of a Shade, or essentially a creepy black ghost that eats souls. It also stripped him of all his cool ninja powers, which was rather unfortunate as he was almost entirely blind without them, thanks to years of overusing those same cool ninja powers.

In Ryslig, Itachi was able to relax for the first time since he was a small child. There was no overriding political conflict forcing him to act as its puppet, and separated from his world, he no longer had to wear the layers upon layers of fake-out masks and feigned disinterests he had built up in self-defense. He made friends, and put his lifelong 'sneak and gather information' ninja training to use as a private eye in the big city of Bavan. Although the requirement to feed on souls was very difficult for him, he found his afterlife in Ryslig far more peaceful and pleasant than his life as a ninja.

After he had gotten very settled and comfortable, Sasuke showed up, fresh from getting stabbed in the chest by the guy Itachi had been hoping he'd kill. While he was happy to see Sasuke, he was certainly NOT happy to find him in what he was pretty convinced was an actual afterlife -- meaning that Sasuke was dead. They nevertheless took the opportunity to connect as near-adults (at 17 and 22) and reach at least some sort of understanding of each other, still underpinned by memories of pain and manipulation (and all the murder, don't forget that) but with an understanding that Itachi had not acted as a free agent and that his intentions toward Sasuke had been ultimately good ones.

Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
Character: Bolormaa Sagahl
Variation: OC
About: Bolormaa Sagahl was born when Hydaelyn, the Mother Crystal, felt the world tearing at them. Somebody had used the forbidden spell, Return, and split their world into three Shards - sending the World of Balance back five years. While it was sent back, it needed Minfilia. However, she was still part of Hydaelyn. This power tore at Hydaelyn, and a new life was made. For a long time, Minfilia could survive, could appear to be there. However, this could not last. It would drain too much Light, and Hydaelyn would fade.

Eventually, Bolormaa the manikin was born from nothing, appearing in the Coerthas cold. Soon picked up by the Warriors of Light, Bolormaa learned to be her own being. She was born as a Blade of Light, but she prefered to fight with Carbuncle. As her world came to understand they were at risk. (Not from the Return spell, but from a multiversal dragon who went by the name Shinryu. Yes, her story is a Dissidia crossover.) Remaining close to Thancred, Bolormaa grew to become his new little sister - especially when the two managed to meet with Minfilia again, and learn Time Magic - to preserve Eorzeas' history.

Even if Eorzea continued on, with these Scions who are mostly monster people, and Bolormaa as not a fighter - but a historian, keeping track of their Eorzea and any changes between Shards. Even if her role is to learn how to keep Conflict going, Bolormaa is still idealistic. She's slowly learned that she has the power to make people re-experience events - and desires to use this to help people. But even apprentices of the Gods deserve a relax, right?

Canon: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (with some Disney and Burton influence)
Character: March Hare | Jethro Acer
Variation: AU
About:
Jethro Acer wasn't always part of the "normal" world. In fact, he wasn't always human. Jethro is actually a native to Wonderland. Once upon a time, he was known as the March Hare, because he was the March Hare. That's logic, you see. Of course, Jethro's Wonderland isn't quite the Wonderland you've read of in any book, or seen on any screen. This Wonderland existed entirely because Alice, as a modern-day child, imagined it. Still, it was very much real. Alice has a special magic in her, one that allows her dreams to become reality.

Alice would visit Wonderland frequently, and as time went on, she grew to follow the chaotic world's reasoning, and those who lived there came to love her- Even the Queen of Hearts, herself. And though Alice never outgrew or forget Wonderland, as she grew up, she found that other things in her own world just took up so much time. She couldn't visit often, and even though she still believed in her childhood fantasy, a particularly long stretch of absence on her part left Wonderland to fade away. Some citizens of Wonderland managed to escape before it was too late, though they found themselves in new forms when they came out in Alice's world.

Now... Can you blame the March Hare for being mad? He lived in Wonderland, after all, where logic was always backwards at best. He was a product of his environment in every way. That's not to say that in Alice's world, Jethro isn't still an oddball. He is! But he's adapting to a "normal" and "logical" life decently. He can carry on conversations with people without interrupting them as much, now, and he's just learned some manners in general. And although he's no less loud or excitable, he's a bit more gentle. A bit.

Unlike Wonderland itself, Jethro's deep fondness for Alice has not faded in the slightest, and he misses her terribly. He and with the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, and Queen of Hearts are the most dedicated to finding her again in her world. In the meantime, he lives in an apartment with the Dormouse and works as a chef.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? Sure!

Canon: Disney’s Frozen
Character: Hans Westergaard
Variation: AU! He’s from before his appearance in the film. Lars still cooks up the Arendelle scheme, but they plan for many other options, so Hans is well-versed in kingdoms (fairytale-type kingdoms in general, not just within the Disney canon!) with lost princesses, missing heirs, or where a nobody can become king by, say, pulling out a stuck sword.
About: Hans is a prince from the Southern Isles, Arendelle’s neighbor kingdom. He is the youngest of thirteen sons, and he’d known physical and emotional abuse for most of his life. His brothers were relentless bullies, and his father allowed the bullying, seeing it as a sign of strength. In fact, his father thought so little of him that he was openly neglected, and in the rare occasions when he was actually acknowledged, it was always with distrust or disgust. So he grew up hating his family (with the notable exception of his mother, and one brother, Lars, the historian) and their dreary little kingdom. But he was still determined to someday earn his father’s respect, and with Lars’ help and influence, came up with a plan to marry into monarchy elsewhere.

Raised in a royal household, Hans is a trained and skilled rider and swordfighter, although he’s not particularly fond of violence (something he explicitly states in the novel A Frozen Heart, as opposed to how he seems to appear in the film). But it’s not his fighting skills that make him dangerous; he’s intelligent, charming, and, above all, an incredible liar.

He’ll be coming to Starhue Valley because, well, Lars said it’s a place of opportunity, and even if in the end it’s not a place he can lord over (unless marrying Marjorie will make him king of the valley?) he can still make connections, forge alliances, deceive princesses… that sort of thing. (As for the mun, well, she wishes for someone to thaw his frozen heart. Because, c’mon. They thaw everyone’s heart in the novel and in the film, except his. Give him a chance!)

Canon: Original
Character: Jim and Tonika Doe
Variation: Original Canon
About: Ah, yes. The modern Earth. Identical in time and space to our own, what more is there to say?

Aside from several lineages of telekinetic humans spanning back all the way to the dawn of history.

No one knows much about the origins of these powers— all the scientific research has come to offer is “how it works” rather than “why it’s here”. Were it not for the unique ways that inheritance worked, one could easily posit a theory that there was just something different in the wiring that had evaded most humans. Instead, the passage of these powers can only be described as supernatural— as there is only ever one who utilizes their bloodlines’ gift at once in the entire world. The gift is passed upon death— from the user to their youngest descendent. It’s possible to pass it to a child, a grandchild, a great-grandchild, so on. If the user dies childless, so does that bloodline. The power does not ‘leap back’ to the next eligible contender— it’s gone for good.

At one point, they were numerous, and not at all concentrated in one area of the world. The gift spread into the furthest reaches of human society, and while some would inevitably lost to the pages of time, others would be enveloped in the organization known as SCLERA.

‘SCLERA’ was formed in its infancy in the 1740’s by a group of likeminded individuals, very literally. Upon becoming aware they had gifts for telemancy that allowed them to manipulate others in deeply unique, mental ways, so began the era of “Well alright, how do we use this to gain power and protect ourselves, as opposed to being burned as witches”?

With powers like ‘being able to manipulate object permanence in grown adults, therefore allowing oneself to become technically invisible’ and being ‘able to instigate chemicals in the brain that control emotions through the warbling of one’s vocal chords, aka ‘singing’’, there was very little even a small bunch of them couldn’t pull off. Lords would find their treasuries ransacked in broad daylight with no memory or understanding to how it could have happened, their guards talking only about a very ‘blissful, distracted’ feeling, even though they were very sure no one opened the door or ever went near it.

Eventually, these likeminded people found more, and more— and so, research began as to why there were ever any likeminded people to begin with. Stories of how it was a family’s curse or gift eventually led them to understand its hereditary nature, and so, as they expanded their reach all over the world, gathering people from all corners of it who showed the signs, the money piled up, the influence doubled, then tripled, then quadrupled until it was a hidden superpower behind superpowers— a massive, secretive organization that posed as anything and everything. To the underworld, they were a mafia. To society, they were a research facility that would license cheaper drugs than their competitors as a cover-up.

Wanting something more official to title themselves, they gradually shifted from calling themselves likeminded to calling their kind Sanguine, as their powers changed hands via blood.

Of course, with the changing of hands, with the traitors, with those prone to listening to their conscience against the company’s greater good, SCLERA was eventually no longer just superhuman, but a mixture of both human and Sanguine, mutually benefitting each other. At the time of Tonika’s birth, there were only 52 known superhumans the organization was aware of. And also, at the time of her birth, most of them were under control by the organization, with a few managing to escape their reach against very desperate odds. (Hiding your location from a person who can bounce from brain to brain of bystanders to tap for information? Makes it hard to hide for very long.)

At that time, SCLERA had taken up a rather unethical hobby— they would breed the Sanguine, in the form of taking the infant and killing the parent, thus forcing the passage of power down manually, and raising them in the doctrine of the organization. They would be carefully selected by their powers for their future positions, to cement them as super-soldiers with unfailing loyalty and unbeatable odds. Several Sanguine within the program were also the product of genetic manipulation– you know, to make super soldiers even more super.

One such experiment was a man with a bar-code name who went by ‘Jim’. Inheritor of the power nicknamed the Sway, he had received the innate gift of manipulation by singing, able to trip wires in someone’s brain to make them feel whatever he needed them to— compliance, aggression, surrender— to make his assassination jobs easier. Alongside him, an outsider to the organization from a family who’d kept their heritage a secret, Grenadine had ended up joining SCLERA voluntarily. Grenadine’s power was the Sync, the ability to clairvoyantly forsee the best possible outcome for a proposed scenario, heavily weighted on risk versus reward. She would know when and where to place an upturned stone in an intersection to cause a ten-car collision, so to speak.

Anyway, they had a kid.

— So yes, the two had a daughter, hidden away in rural Montana, in the care of someone Grenadine had trusted as long as she was alive. After her death, though, all bets were off.

Grenadine had carefully chosen a small town clinic doctor to be her host for several months into her pregnancy. She’d planned it well– by leaving only when she was starting to show, Jim wouldn’t suspect her of being gone the whole nine months. By manipulating her superiors into thinking she would be out on a crucial job, she’d have the privacy she needed. She had her child in relative seclusion, stayed with her for only a week after, then marched back home as if nothing had ever gone wrong. Grenadine was well aware of SCLERA’s fondness of child soldiers, and if she could just narrowly avoid that for her own daughter, everything would be fine.

The doctor, who was paid with a handsome bribe biannually, was supposed to take care of and raise Tonika as his own relative, to treat her with care until the day Grenadine hinted she would be coming back for her. Those first four years for Tonika were fine– he was never super adoring, but he wasn’t deliberately mean, either. He’d hired maids for when he didn’t have the time or energy, and Tonika had gotten most of her affection from them.

Eventually the checks stopped coming. Tonika, at four years old, had gone from a life of comfortable normalcy split between kind nurses who’d acted in place of a mother into a colder home where it was just her and her father and his accumulated wealth— his fancy home and rich surroundings and all of his stark neglect. Her room had gone from reasonably normal looking to sparse as she outgrew her toys, with a tube television and whatever books she could get her hands on to keep her company.

The doctor had already been registered as her guardian as an uncle, so it wasn’t as if he could dump a four year old out on the curb lest he face criminal neglect charges. He was tense until it became clear Grenadine was truly unreachable, then he slowly started taking turns for the worst. Tonika was no longer a job, but a burden, and he wouldn’t bother hiding it. The trauma wasn’t one big event as opposed to the constance of several little ones– neglecting her to the point of her learning to take care of her own problems, to avoid making him angrier. Telling her lies to quiet her, and treating them as absolute truth where he’d punish her for doubting him. Accidents around the house were her fault, regardless of the culprit, and any time she pointed out that it was something he forgot, or he misstepped on– was met with even harsher punishments and intimidation.

Tonika grew up fraught with anxiety, because she was constantly on alert. Though he never did much more physically than slap her cheek or grab her upper arm so hard her fingers would start to numb, she was still deathly terrified of him, and escaped any way she could. Fond of the forest near their house, she’d frequently wander in to continue her hobby of mapping the trails by hand as an excuse to stay out of the house. One day, when she was ten, she was accidentally shot in the eye by a group of young hunters who had mistaken her movement for that of a deer’s.

Fearful that they’d go to jail and that they’d killed her, the party abandoned her at the spot (after a bit of a gruesome detail to cover up their involvement), leaving her to wake up hours later, caked in blood and in a lot of pain. It was by her own map that she found her way back home, knocked on the door of the nearest house, and waited for an ambulance. Though her memory of the entire thing is fuzzy, it resulted in PTSD. From that point on, she had difficulty dealing with loud bangs and letting people get too close to her face. She refused a glass replacement and took to covering her eye socket with a scarf and a bit of elastic tied at the ends, out of a sensitivity to letting anyone see it again.

The next four years of her life continued in much of the same. She’d known a lot of neighbors who prevented her from becoming completely bitter from her treatment. In particular, a Russian expatriate had noticed her injury after she’d come home from the hospital, and gently asked her to explain. Offering his garage to her, he became her teacher in all things about guns in hopes of giving her some sense of safety, reassurance, and closure in regards to her experience. To his credit, his efforts were not in vain and Tonika started to grow past it, though she was still at a complete loss on what to do about her home life.

Eventually, Jim would find a letter in an old jacket of Grenadine’s, fourteen years later from when he’d last seen her wearing it. He’d use the combination on the note to find a bank vault with some old photos and an address in Montana.

By then, Jim had become a more rounded adult, subdued and secure, understanding of his position in SCLERA as opposed to being their unwitting pawn. Of course, no one can drop out of a place like SCLERA easily, and despite the anti-brainwashing intense therapy Grenadine set him up with, he wasn’t completely fixed by it. He was still complacent to be their hitman, he just no longer took pride or enthusiasm in the work, understanding his deal was ‘do it, or be scrapped for his next of kin’. So when he found out he had a next of kin already– well, one might understand his shock. That shock wasn’t much in comparison to the gut-wrench of seeing the state of her. An eyepatch and bruises on her upper arm, her completely shrinking personality as her foster parent asked if Grenadine had set anything aside for him to be paid for his efforts.

Jim took him for a walk in a local graveyard, found a hole dug for a next-day burial, and put the doctor in with a bullet. That was the end of that.

And the beginning of him telling her to pack her things for the plane ride back to Michigan. To be fair, she had always dreamed of something like this happening in a very childish way– her birth parents would come get her, and they’d protect her, and she’d be happy… but Jim was understandably a bit intimidating, by the size of him alone. While he was more well-rounded, he lacked some subtle graces, and when he decided to tell Tonika the truth about himself, that he was an international-class assassin for a conspiracy-grade corporation, she handled it less than gracefully. First by running away as Jim patiently waited by his car for her to come back, second by isolating herself in the room he gave her in his spacious apartment, imprisoning herself as Jim gently pressed her for information and gave all the reassurance he could that she would be kept a secret from his employers

But it got better. Tonika got over her fear of him with time and acclimation. With Jim’s promise of her uninvolvement, he began giving her freedoms she’d never had or thought possible or that she was particularly deserving of. Jim, meanwhile, was carrying both fascination and deep guilt for the fact that he had a daughter, and the idea that she spent all that time alone when he could have rescued her. Tonika was quick to become attached, feeling like this was the first time she’d ever felt safe in the real way in her entire life. Jim, while never anticipating raising his own child, was warm and patient with her.

With that in mind, he took his time before breaking the news that in addition to her having a still-living father, she also had a gift from her mother. One she’d never known she had the ability to tap into since she was four, on the day of her mother’s death. He told her she was a Sanguine, something more terrifying than a wizard or a chosen one, and that she had one of the most dangerous powers of all, the very last gift from a departed mother she never knew. She had the power of ultimate manipulation, the Sync— a power she immediately grew fearful of thanks to the man she’d grown up with.

And that’s where we are, now.

Canon: Ducktales 2017
Character: Scrooge McDuck
Variation: Pre-series, maybe a month before the pilot
About:
Scrooge McDuck, the Richest Duck in the World, daring adventurer, captain of industry, has spent the last ten years as a recluse. Following the loss of his niece, Della, he locked himself up in his mansion and his Money Bin. He adopted an attitude that family was nothing but trouble and avoided making close relationships with anyone, especially after his butler and longtime companion Duckworth passed away.

He sees Starhue Valley as a place to disappear from the world until he dies an impossibly-old, bitter, and depressed man. He raises animals and comes into town only when he must...or when he can't ignore his own loneliness.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? She's an OC so?

Canon: Bloodborne
Character: Hunter, real name unknown
Variation: OC
About: So the application I have written up for her that's super detailed for another game is over 10 pages long so I'm going to give you a quick and dirty without much world explanation. (Video warning: possible horrifying and violent imagery.) Here is a 30 minute video explaining the lore of Bloodborne and giving you insight into the world, but I am not going to bother explaining the mechanics as they are not important for this community.

Bloodborne is an incredibly violent and grotesque world. Hunter went to Yharnam for some reason that she no longer remembered after receiving a blood infusion of the Old Blood. She went through the world (that is, the plot of the game) and has done everything there is to do except face Gehrman in the final showdown and whatnot. Within her adventure she's met horrifying monsters, grotesque beasts that were once people, gained lots of Lovecraftian-esque knowledge that's driven her half mad, and otherwise experienced unspeakable things. She's being taken directly from canon before the next to final boss of the game, as she has done what is needed to fight and beat the Moon Presence.

She's pretty quiet, standoffish, aloof, unsure how to deal with such a domestic world. She is blunt, doesn't do drama, isn't sure what to do with overly happy or friendly people. Generally keeps people at arm's length in the event they turn on her (as they did at home), etc. She isn't bad at socialization but she comes from a place where it didn't really exist and in general is more quiet and polite than anything.

This is very much me exploring the character so this is where I'm at with her as a concept, I'm sure things will change as I get to know her better. She's very much a challenge for me. I'm also still getting this journal all set up with references and stuff so please bear with me in the interim.

Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
Character: Q'uila Sunrise
Variation: WoL, Synodiporia CRAU
About: Q'uila Sunrise is one of seven Warriors of Light from one of the many iterations of Hydaelyn scattered about the multiverse. Originally from Limsa Lominsa, Q'uila moved to Gridania to work and learn as a part of the Lancer's Guild. After being headhunted alongside five others by the Scions of the Seventh Dawn for their Echo's, Q'uila's story closely follows Canon. Opposing the Ascians and the many Primals they have summoned, fighting the Garlean Empire and the recently reawakened Ultima, and being chosen as the second Azure Dragoon, all the way through Heavensward and Stormblood.

Q'uila was whisked away to Synodiporia after the liberation of both Ala Mhigo and Doma from the Garlean Empire alongside a number of her friends. Q'uila is looking to use Starhue Valley as a place to escape from the high-stakes game of Syn's Arcana, as well as creating a space for herself that she could use to meet and keep in contact with friends from about the Multiverse. As well as an excuse to freely explore and mine, two of her main motivations for originally becoming an Adventurer and something she hasn't been able to do in a while.

Q'uila tends towards being friendly and enquiring to those she meets, and is naturally inclined to offer assistance wherever possible. She cares deeply for those she considers her family, and is quick to catagorise people she meets as friends. In recent times she has had to keep a better handle on her more negative emotions thanks to her connection with the Ancient Dragon Nidhogg. Her personal hobbies are mining and blacksmithing and she is more than happy to offer these services to those who require enchanted items in return for compensation, as well as her services as a tracker thanks to her personalised Echo ability.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character?
Sure.

Canon: Fate/Zero
Character: Grainne
Variation: Originally coming from an AU of Fate/Zero where the Servants were switched with other characters from their myths or changed classes. First played in Tower of Animus, she bounced to Last Resort, then Ten Forward, and finally a bit of a PSL dealing with fall out from her multiverse travels.
About: Grainne is from a horror game, originally! She has a long history so here's a minute version, with further reading and details in journal. :3 There's a lot of warnings and specifics are also in her sticky post. Also her AU predates Fate/Grand Order so a number of things are different since they hadn't existed at the time, such as Darius as a Servant.

Grainne was summoned by Waver Velvet in her AU after he swiped Kayneth's back up summoning artifact. Her wish for the Grail was to bring Diarmuid back so he could live out the rest of his life without having to worry about Fionn. The war was pretty brutal, with one of the Servants actively attacking innocents using an undead army causing the others to temporarily align to take him out. (There's a whole write up for details in her journal). Afterward, Grainne was defeated in battle, only to wake up in the Tower of Animus.

Grainne made friends with a few other characters, including Hilda, Romeo and if it can be called friendship when dealing with Gils, Prototype Gilgamesh. Diarmuid from canonverse was also there, but had entered into another relationship, making her question many of her beliefs. She was there for a few months, when the Tower lost power. Thanks to the efforts of the Tower's residents, they had gained a way of defeating Ruana and restoring the worlds she had destroyed. Grainne participated in the last battle to save the Multiverse from Ruana, mostly protecting Romeo and chewing out Gilgamesh for standing around watching.

After Zo restored her world and returned her intact, she and Waver managed to wait out the end of the Grail War and challenge the last standing Servant by surprise. Grainne took a lot of damage in the last battle, but Waver made a wish for her and Diarmuid to live again and restored her. She lives as a sort of half-Servant, stole Sakura from the Matous to fulfill a promise, and takes any opportunity she gets to travel the multiverse, meeting a lot of people and sharing experiences in the multiverse at large.

Between traveling, raising Sakura and dealing with her changed relationship with her world's Diarmuid, Grainne manages a company and a large stock portfolio and sometimes attends therapy. One of the more unusual encounters in her PSL was meeting Loki, who had fallen into her universe instead of a barren moon, and took care of him until his wounds healed. After he recovered, Grainne dared him to turn London into candy for a few hours.

Due to the nature of the horror elements of the Tower, and her original defeat in her world, Grainne experiences PTSD and mostly tries to keep to herself. On occasion her friends have been known to drag her out of the house in attempts to help her. Such as Loki coming to visit her two years after he returned to Asgard, and taking her to see Asgardia post-Ragnarok.

At her current point it's been about 12 years since the end of the Fourth Holy Grail War. She had planned on retiring to a farm in Ireland after returning from Asgardia, but a community where others like her live and she can talk freely about alternate universes is a pretty strong draw!

This Jade is post-canon. Everything that happened in the game/anime/manga also occured in Jade's timeline from fomicry, to events in Luke's life, events of deaths, fonic system, and so on and forth. The only AU part is the following:

- He has a close friendship with Saphir since childhood and even long after they split due to a disagreement of fomicry and Jade outlawed it and banned it, considering illegal, he still thinks of him as a friend
- He studies pre-medical in military school to be a doctor, but dropped out to serve the Emperor his best friend. In canon, where he said he works on experimenting dead bodies in a morgue which he did, he actually has knowledge equal to that a nurse/physician and can handle medicine as well, but think he wasn't cut out to be a good doctor as in, not nice or kind enough to care for others, even though this one has the capacity to care.
- Afterward, he becomes a soldier and studies advanced casting fonons to become an elite soldier and was quickly promoted to become lieutant colonel
- He detest violence and is a pacifist, and often resorts to violence if he has too or loosing his temper (which is slow but at times quick), coming from the accident where he accidentally killed the professor
- Dist the Rose is serving time in Malkuth's prison for crimes such as treason and tresspassing and stealing military documents from the military library. Jade is dissapointed, but often visits his best friend as Jade believes he isn't beyond saving and the friendship is worth salvaging as Saphir is prodigy too.

The CRAUs
[community profile] abyssdressing
- He runs a small vendor/kisok selling lemonade and sweets. The advice is free. He remember a baby Saphir there, and he wished he could do more for him as a grown-up.

[community profile] thewake
- He works in the medbay, which is the hospital there. Not much happened here other than he realized he has a growing interest in the medic field. He met Asch there, but found him a bitter individual.

[community profile] genessia
- He works as a cashier in a candy store, an elementary school teacher, and works extra time as a bounty hunter. He remembers events here like how he saved a town from an epidemic disease with Luke's help and the help of friends he met while living there. During his stay there, he cared for the younger castmates of Luke, Anise, and Sync, and they once lived together in a house he bought for them to keep them together. Luke and Anise went home, and the house has been sold by Sync. He also becomes a pokemon trainer here when a portal opened and the pokemon were available to capture.

So the AU part is his personality. This Jade is accustomed to world hopping and caring for others, and despite the sarcastic and often "mean" snark he is famous for, there's a hidden compassion that is subtle and isn't easily seen, and he has a soft spot for children once being an orphaned himself and often play big brother to others. Hopefully, I open a clinic here and give farming a try. But really, I'm here for the pokemon adventures, and he'll have his pokemon with him.

PS: Also this Jade has aged consideringly and is now 40 years old. Old man is old.

Canon: Tales of the Abyss
Character: Emperor Peony Upala Malkuth IX
Variation: Canon-fresh!
About: Raised away from the royal court for his own protection, Peony usually comes off as more farm-boy than Emperor anyway, speaking casually even to official visitors, lounging around avoiding paperwork, and keeping livestock as pets. He takes his position seriously when he really has to, but he'll be much happier coming to the valley to escape the responsibilities of being king whenever he possibly can.

He's basically lived in a gilded cage all his life, so he doesn't exactly have a lot of useful skills for running a farm - even when he was being raised away from the capital, they kept him indoors almost all the time. His only memories for the first nine years of his life all take place within the same manor house that he wasn't allowed to leave...so he's really going to enjoy the freedom of living wild.

Canon: Kuroshitsuji
Character: Undertaker
Variation: Riverview CRAU
About: Undertaker is an odd sort. His humor is a brand that many won't appreciate, as he tends to poke and prod at buttons to get a reaction out of others for his own fun, but he has said laughter means as much as the world to him. It isn't too terribly unusual to find him peeking out of coffins or bowling with body parts to take up his time. He lives in a funeral parlor among the dead and spends his time readying bodies for their last big party at the church. If that wasn't enough, he even shapes his cookies into bones and keeps them in an urn, and his tea is kept in beakers that may or may not have once held bodily materials that would make your stomach turn. To sate his amusement, he holds information that he picks up through the grapevine in England's underworld and asks for a laugh as payment before he will tell anyone what it is they want to know. The upside to this is that he almost always wears a smile, although it's hard to tell whether or not there is something sinister or simply amused hiding behind it.

Despite his tendencies and peculiarities, he isn't outwardly malicious or malevolent. He has been a mortician for years and takes pride in his work, making the dead beautiful again before they're buried. He does have his own agenda behind it all, and though he won't outright kill someone to see to his own ends, he doesn't mind if people die as a result of his work. Life takes on a different meaning to those who are already dead, and Undertaker has been rather indifferent about matters of the living and the dead in his time as a grim reaper.

It's his curiosity about what happens after life that motivates him for the bizarre dolls, he has said, and he uses that and his position as a mortician to play with death and see what happens when he changes a person's cinematic records (the history of their life, in essence) to cause them to try and live longer. These people mean nothing to him; they are strangers, and it's easy not to care for what happens to them or their living loved ones. He just wants to see what happens in the end, or beyond the end as the case may be, but like his brand of humor, not everyone cares for his methods or his experiments and it gets him in trouble when he's found out. Even still, he takes it in stride and doesn't care much for the offenses he has caused, going so far as to say some of them just can't appreciate the beauty of his work. A ship full of the living have been terrorized and attacked to see how they fare against his dolls? Okay, sure. But the dolls themselves don't lie like the living do. Their honest, simple nature is something he can appreciate and even admire.

Still, there are certain people in the world that he won't let come to harm through it - namely those in the Phantomhive family, who he has been involved with for generations. He hasn't yet jumped in harm’s way to protect the only living member of the Phantomhives, but he hasn’t needed to. It isn't that he doesn't care - the chain around his waist stands as a testament to the depth of his feelings for the people who meant anything to him. Their names and death dates and little locks of their hair are kept with him on his mourning chain and he keeps it with him always. The only one who wasn't able to make it to that chain was Vincent Phantomhive, only because when his remains were discovered, there was nothing left of him. But Vincent's son remains, and even when Undertaker was attacked by Ciel’s butler, he never directly attempted to harm the boy, even going so far as to give them a quick way out of a sinking ship when all was said and done by cutting it in half with his death scythe.

What he does is his own business and he has his own purposes for making the bizarre dolls that he has, but he hides it all behind his grins and keeps his secrets close while he watches over the people who mean the most to him. This hasn't changed in his Riverview CRAU. Over the year he has spent in the game, circumstances brought Ciel Phantomhive to the world with him. With the initial distance between them, they lived separately and things went as they had while the two of them had been in England. But when an in game event caused Ciel to be reverted in memory to a younger version of himself, Undertaker became the one person Ciel could recall and rely on.

For a week, Undertaker cared for Ciel, and when the Earl's memories returned, they found a new dynamic in their friendship. While still just as oddball, Undertaker became Ciel's guardian officially, and after Ciel suffered an asthma attack, the two moved to a small cottage. A few months later, Ciel even hired Undertaker on as a manager of one of his business ventures, and they have been close ever since.

Canon: Zoids New Century /0
Character: Jamie Hemeros
Variation: CRAU from [community profile] interstellar5555, a memloss/regain game about ROCK STARS.
About: Prior to being kidnapped by aliens and brainwashed into thinking he was a sixteen-year-old boyband member, Jamie was a strategist for a team of mecha pilots. Becoming a pop star made him temperamental, insecure and bratty, though he slowly got over most of this as he regained memories of his true self and formed close bonds with his bandmates and other musicians.

During his time in-game he gained the ability to wield music power, which uses the sheer emotion of musical expression to warp the fabric of reality. Or something. His abilities include creating and altering matter, influencing the moods of others, and imparting direct mental suggestions. (It's probably fortunate that, all things considered, he's fairly well-adjusted and benign.) He can use his abilities at any time, but the music power that he fuels them can only be replenished by performing in front of other people.

One of the most significant connections Jamie made in his old game was with Sora. Considering they were separated quite suddenly in-game, Jamie will be thrilled to see him here.

Jamie made a lot of deep friendships in Interstellar with people who became as much a family to him as anyone back home. He'll miss his teammates, but he'd never want to forget his bandfam.

Canon: Kuroshitsuji
Character: "Ciel" Phantomhive
Variation: CRAU from Riverview
About: "Ciel" has spent a year in Riverview Quarantine! A moon in which characters are drawn in by a portal that can detect a need or desire for a fresh start. It also serves to bring inhabitants to their damaged reality. After five years, characters are offered a chance to live on the Capital World.

He's spent enough time there that he's had amnesia, got sick from the cure, suffered nightmares revolving around his past traumas, latched onto Undertaker for comfort, and has made friends. He's softened up considerably since he's had amnesia, been ill, had surgery twice to remove a brand and his cursed eye, and reverted to his childhood.

His friends include Jason Todd, Laura Howlett, Jonathan Kent, Beverly Crusher, Undertaker, Damian Wayne, Draco Malfoy, and Eichi Tenshouin. Several of whom left early in his own stay.

He's still a bit distant and still dislikes close physical contact, like in canon, but he's much kinder and more polite. And much more willing to be around people. He's slowly learned over the course of a year that life is enjoyable and worth living through.

Personality-wise, Ciel is still kind of stuck up. He doesn't care for physical labor or being at a disadvantage. He's skilled at managing a business (Funtom Toys & Candy, Funtom Music Hall) and investigating crimes. Ciel is also incredibly intelligent, considered a genius even at his age. But he also suffers from PTSD from incidents occurring on and after his tenth birthday. There's also a bit of a short-fuse on his temper. Despite that though, he still has a strong sense of justice when it comes to those he cares about or who have some kind of importance to him. So he'll defend them no matter what.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? Absolutely!

Canon: Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji
Character: Earl Vincent Phantomhive
Variation: Canon fresh after the initial Miracle of the Sapphires (i.e. when he is a teenager in school).
About: Vincent is well-educated, well-bred and incredibly aware of that fact. He will gladly take advantage of anyone and everyone that comes his way and never feel an ounce of guilt about it. It's your fault for not protecting yourself better obviously. In fact, he is/was able to perform a "miracle" for his House (one of the lovely facets of attending a boarding school) because of his shamelessness in knowing how to be a subtle cheater. Cricket might be an honorable game, but not when it is played by a Phantomhive.

He is the only son of his mother, Claudia Phantomhive, but he does have an older sister named Francis. It has been speculated that the siblings have two different fathers, yet that hasn't been proven. However that theory would explain why Francis is blonde haired and light eyed and Vincent is dark haired and dark eyed. Then again, it doesn't really matter. Vincent is fond - and even affectionate - towards his sister and he takes the death of Claudia (likely through violent means as she was only in her thirties) harder than he shows. Thus why, in my opinion, he is spending his youth, mischievously, gathering those he trusts into his "family". He wants plenty of aid should his position as the Queen's Guard/Watch-Dog take a nasty turn - perhaps like it did for Claudia.

While he is a noble, Vincent doesn't mind getting his hands dirty and trying something new. He has also wanted to travel for some time. Farming will be a nice change for him - a peaceful change - that may allow him to grieve his mother in peace. It may also give him more time - a precious commodity - to toughen himself for the journey ahead. Serving British royalty is not for the faint of heart.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? She's an OC, but as I've said before, I've allowed people to play my OCs before so sure why not let's see what happens down the line.

Canon: Original Character.
Character: Faith Catherine Parmalee.
Variation: Straight from "canon."
About: Nineteen years old and super spunky, Faith is the youngest of four children in a future where her parents -- Tori and Jeb Parmalee -- managed to peacefully settle down. As far as she knows, there's nothing weird or abnormal about her parents -- even if they're both elementals, that's still pretty normal, right? And sure they both look pretty young for their age, but surely you can chalk that up to good genetics. The daughter of two elementals -- and two elementals connected to the ancient elementals of legend at that, even if she's unaware of such -- Faith was bound to be an elemental herself, and she's the only child of the four to have inherited her father's abilities instead of her mother's. This pleases her, and she's devoted a lot of time to mastering her ability to create rocks, heal people and create/accelerate the growth of plant life ever since her abilities first showed themselves.

Faith has spent her entire life being overprotected and coddled, from both her well-meaning parents and her severely protective older siblings. This is something that frustrates her to no end, especially now that she's an adult -- she desperately wants to be treated her age. She seems to possess some of the best traits of her parents: like Tori, she's passionate, outgoing, bubbly, friendly and energetic, but she's also approachable, compassionate, sweet and idealistic like Jeb. She's wise beyond her years in many ways, including having the distinct understanding that the people around her are deeply flawed. Due to this, her ideals are more rooted in reality than her father's. She believes in the beauty of the world, but she knows she can't be pushed around. Despite having all these good traits, they aren't without their downsides. While she's wise beyond her years in some ways, she's incredibly naive in others. She can't keep herself from being pushed around and used if she doesn't see it coming. She can be a little too pushy in her attempts to help people as well, a trait she also shares with her father (and possibly in spades, due to being less inclined to back off.) She also can be a tad impish, and though she never has truly malicious intentions, this can be taken in a way she doesn't mean it to be. This includes friendly teasing that can, on occasion, go a little too far without her meaning it to. Still, her heart is in the right place, and even her traits that are less than desirable are born from friendly places. Overall, she's pretty well adjusted for someone who's been a tad on the sheltered side her whole life.

She's had a pretty normal life, even if every member of her family insists on handling her with safety gloves... up until recently. Her brother, Tobias, has been acting strangely whenever he comes home to visit. Her eldest sister Joan has been more on guard than usual during her own visits, somehow timed to perfectly line up with Tobias'. It's causing a certain amount of tension whenever the family's together -- even her parents seem to always talk in hushed whispers about the possibility of "Aero" making a return, whoever that is. On top of it all, everyone refuses to clue her in on what's going on and pretends everything is as it's always been. Arriving at Starhue Valley will almost be a blessing to her. Not only can she have a fun adventure and have a bit more freedom, but she won't have to deal with the looming tension. ...just with the fact that younger versions of her parents are here. One of them is even exactly her age. Awkward.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? Yup.

Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
Character: Cid Garlond
Variation: Roleswap AU.
About: In the AU this Cid comes from, he never escaped from Garlemald - unlike his canon self, who ran with his airship. Instead, his rival/enemy, Nero, escaped later - and, due to this change, the two of them switched roles. He remained - and remains - loyal to Gaius and Garlemald, though he was taken from them when the Black Wolf fell with Ultima Weapon.

Once Cid left, he dressed in Goldsmith clothes and pretended to be a kindhearted treasure hunter, though he remained scared that Gaius still lived - and annoyed at Eorzea. Full of fear and hatred. Though events happen similar to canon, Cid is a different man then Nero. He seeked glory in Garlemald, but did not seek it once he was forced to leave. However, he did end up befriending G'raha... because even in this world, Nero went into the Void.

After Nero was rescued, however, Cid got some of that taint in him. He couldn't leave the Ironworks at that point, for they needed to make sure his infection wouldn't spread. This taint means he can shift between his regular form and a Lalafellian form - one he tends to use when he's trying to hide away, trying to hide his own anger at the world. Even if he's a bit more of an asshole then the canon Cid, Cid tol Garlond is an okay man.

His current canon point is 4.2 - where, like Nero did canonly, he didn't let anybody know he was dying. He was ordered to rest - but, instead, he set out. Because he can't handle it anymore - kindness from people who don't get it, don't get what he's about. Or so he claims.

Canon: Pokemon
Character: Grimsley
Variation: AU, he's a vampire. :3
About: Grimsley - or, as he's been called long ago, Dracula (yes, he totally did) - has lived for 3000 years. A Woobat tainted by the Ultimate Weapon, he found his way to Unova in the last thousand years - deciding it would be his territory. He doesn't often take a role which puts him in the spotlight, but he became quite fascinated with gambling in his latest lifetime.

However, he seemed to fall into ruin, and was taken into the Elite Four by Alder. However, he didn't feel he could linger for long. After the protaganist of the sequel of the Unova games defeated Iris, he retired - and moved to Alola, picking up a new game. However, again, his wanderlust got to him...

He'll be coming with a good mix of his team - listen I can't decide right now. And a lot of money - even if he fell into ruin, that's just in Unovan money. Don't ask where he got his other money. (Spoilers - he robs people he... okay so he doesn't kill people, he feeds on positive feelings. Because it's Pokemon. And yet, he's still a Woobat.)

Canon: Original Character
Character: Bridge "Nocturne" Sangster-McDuck
Variation: OC
About: Coming from a world filled with magic, Demons, and mythical creatures, Bridge is a half-human, half-Siren teenager who struggled through a rough childhood. When he was young, his mother, Rhythm (the one who his Siren blood comes from) left him and his father, Jeffrey. And with no other Sirens in the human-majority town they lived in, there was no one to help Bridge when he discovered his Siren powers several years later. The manifestation of his abilities happened suddenly, resulting in him accidentally attacking his childhood friend. The incident caused the town to fear and distrust him, and, with his friend's family moving away and his father having to work longer and harder to recompense the friend's hospital bills following the attack, Bridge spent much of his time alone.

At fifteen, Bridge's father suffered from a heart attack that, sadly, he did not survive through. It was then that he met his father's estranged family, the Sangsters. Disapproving of Jeffrey and Rhythm's relationship, the Sangsters in turn wanted nothing to do with Bridge, and had every intention to abandon him to his fate after Jeffrey's funeral. But the timely arrival of Jeffrey's friend and business partner, Scrooge McDuck (a version that is native to this world), spares Bridge from growing up homeless. Scrooge offers to take in Bridge, and eventually hires and even adopts Bridge into the family, which steadily grows as Bridge experiences the adventures and troubles that seem to follow the family around. Due to some recent events back home, Bridge is pretty okay with taking some time away to clear his head.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? YOU BET THAT'D BE GREAT

Canon: Final Fantasy XII and beyond - I will be pulling the XIV version.
Character: Yiazmat
Variation: This is mostly XIV version with a recognition that XII and XII:RW events happened
About:
One Deity among Dragons, One great Wyrm to rule all Wyrms of the World, by the Creator Himself created. Legend says it is an Anima, Guardian to a Sacred Blade. Though most sacred among its Kind, its great Power drove it to Madness, and in the End, it became a Threat to its own Creator. His Master was killed by Yiazmat, robbing Montblanc of all Joy in Life, and he would have Revenge. - Beastiary entry in FFXII.

In FFXII and FFXII:RW he is a holy dragon, the deity among the wyrms, an Esper created by Feolthanos, cast away in Midlight's Deep since Feolthanos couldn't control it. It guards the sacred blade.

In FFXIV he is the twisted transformation of Ba'Gamnan.

Ba'Gamnan and his siblings served as fusileers in the Dalmascan army under Prince Rasler's command. During the Garlean invasion of Dalmasca, 30 years prior to the events of Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood, Rasler ordered Ba'Gamnan's unit to escort his twin sister Ashelia away from the besieged Nalbina Fortress. To this end he entrusted Ba'Gamnan with an Auracite necklace to be given to Ashelia once she was safely away. Ba'Gamnan's unit ultimately failed in their duty, and both Rasler and Ashelia were killed in the invasion. Ba'Gamnan has since worn the necklace as a reminder of his failure, and seeks out more Auracite for the power to potentially undo his past mistakes.

Ba'Gamnan first appears at the end of the Royal City of Rabanastre duty, as part of the Return to Ivalice raid series. After the Warrior of Light and their party clear the Royal City, they discover both an Auracite and the missing Jenomis cen Lexentale. Ba'Gamnan and his crew fall upon the party, taking Jenomis hostage and demanding the Auracite in exchange. The adventurer's party acquiesces. After releasing Jenomis and delivering a gut shot to Bwagi for a toothless joke, Ba'Gamnan steals a tome held by Jenomis. Afterwards, he, Gijuk and Bwagi flee on their airship, Auracite in hand.

Leading up to the second Return to Ivalice raid, it is discovered that Ba'Gamnan has gone missing at the Ridorana Lighthouse. Initially he is found at the base of the Lighthouse but flees higher into the tower.

Yiazmat is to engage the adventurer but, instead, is pulled out to Starhue before their fateful battle, finding himself turned into a moody teenager upon arrival. He comes to this world to avoid the confrontation with the Warrior of Light and to escape the past from FFXII(:RW) and his failures in FFXIV and have a new chance in a new world.

Extra info:
In Starhue he will very much view adults as analogous to the Empire and generally be against working and exerting himself - I'm sure, if convinced, he would fit in with a certain Pokemon villain group.

He's a 17 y/o moody teenager now. I have a commission in the works for a very basic idea of what he looks like. He dresses in torn up jeans, ripped up shirts, etc - very edgy looking. He has a grey/silver tinge to his skin, yellow eyes, his hair is a sort of yellow platinum blond color and it's always messy. He has multiple piercings including: eyebrow piercing, some sort of nose piercing, stretched ear lobes - all jewelry is silver in color. Bonus: he keeps his FFXIV voice, because that totally makes sense.

Are you okay with interacting with an AU/CRAU/otherwise of your character? The more the merrier, sure thing.

Canon: Final Fantasy XIV.
Character: Zenos yae Galvus, General of the Imperial Army, Viceroy of Ala Mhigo and Doma.
Variation: Canon fresh.
About: So if you wanted to tl;dr this, everyone would say that Zenos yae Galvus is a giant dick. They're not wrong. He's a giant and he's a dick. Zenos is the General of the Imperial Army of the Garlemald Empire and the Vicery or Ala Mhigo and Doma in FFXIV Stormblood. He was raised to be the next Emperor once the current one decided to die off and naturally fulfills the trope of brat. He's arrogant, selfish and very much the villain too. There are zero qualms about killing people off; they don't exactly matter in the grand scheme of things so should something happen and a few hundred die he's not going to lose sleep over it. No, Zenos isn't the kind of person to care about running places and people well, he's in it for the fight and the power. Zenos lives for that side of things so much he even goes against his own Empire's rules, trying to subdue primals and augmenting and improving his own body. In a way Zenos embodies how some people play MMORPGs; he's in it for the fight, doesn't care much at all for the politics even of his own country and it's definitely all about defeating enemies and collecting loot.

So naturally he's going to fit in amazingly in a farm based sandpit. Unless everyone else's farms are better than his (they most likely will be) then there'll have to be something done about that. Maybe Zenos will take token produce to keep as trophies of the farms he's conquered just like the swords and katana he likes to keep to use in fights with others. Zenos enjoys that enough he has a large device that allows him to carry three katanas before revolving them to pick a seemingly random one.

You really can't miss Zenos either. Just like other Garleans he's ridiculously tall, pale and has long blond hair. He doesn't look older than thirty and his armour is ridiculously bulky too. People still wonder to this day how he managed to fit through doors. Garleans also have a "third eye" on their forehead and Zenos is supposedly unable to use magic just like the others of his kind.

Considering that Zenos is "canon fresh", he obviously needs a good enough reason to be staying around this place. Firstly it's a bone idle curiosity to see what powers are at work. If people can be brought to and from such a world then there's obviously something doing it and Zenos is apt to want to find out, smack it to the ground and take it home to use for himself. Secondly (cw: suicide, Stormblood spoilers) Zenos slit his own throat towards the end of the base expansion, seemingly dying. It had been a happy one in the sense that Zenos did it feeling he had done what he was supposed to do as opposed to doing so due to having no way out. A place like this will give him time to figure out how to set up another "Royal Hunt" once he returns. He's going to be terrible at growing produce but may somehow wind up with a void chicken or two and some weirdly shaped carrots. God forbid should he ever manage to somehow grow a giant cauliflower because no one will ever hear the end of it.
